Chapter 42 Wyvern meets Rex pt 2

"I truly hope that this was the completion of the Emergency Quest."

Rex opened his menu and found he had not completed the Emergency Quest but the baby wyvern had already formed a Soul Partner.

"I'm doomed!"

The Spider Queen already knew that the baby wyvern had already formed the Soul Partner without thinking. She was extremely angry.

"This baby did not know anything!" The Spider Queen hid that deep in her Soul.

She wanted Rex to find out for himself.

Finally seeing the defeated Rex, the Spider Queen understood how he felt.

"Is something wrong, young man?" The Wyvern boss found this predicament amusing.

"Your daughter formed a Soul Partner without our consent." The Spider Queen was fuming.

I knew that she was truly mad but I could not help being able to see this young wyvern as an opportunity. Yes, it is absolutely bad! Yes, the Spider Queen will be eating at my Soul! I truly want this baby to grow up.

"Sir, how did she know to form a Soul Partner with me?" I asked curiously.

The Wyvern boss looked at me straight in the eye and said, "You carried her. You kept her protected even at the risk of your own Soul. Of course she would register you as being her protector."

This baby found me to be its protector! I never thought I would hear a day when a monster would recognize me as a father or protector. I was wanting one too but I never wanted or got a chance to get a Tamed Creature.

Looking deep into its pearly black eyes. I found this baby looking deeply inside my Soul. Even though the Spider Queen had already formed a Majestic Web covering the good areas in my Soul.

This baby Wyvern burnt places around the web. She almost formed a path around the webs so she too could get some of my good areas.

I found the Spider Queen looking at me and the baby wyvern. I could tell that she wanted nothing more than to completely devour the baby wyvern. She held back seeing it had already gotten a good area to itself.

That was a place that she could not even get to when she was forming her webs. Not only that but this baby wyvern had also given her a way to not worry about any other Soul Partner. Any creature had to go through her eyes to get to the baby wyvern.

This was truly amazing. Seeing how she had already formed a Soul Partner with me. Yet, both me and the Spider Queen both did not know she had.

"This is truly a way to gain friendship, lovers, and enjoy life." I told them.

The Spider Queen looked at me happily. The baby wyvern wagged its tail like a dog. I found this part of the journey extremely good.

Suddenly I found myself back in the cave. The baby wyvern looked at the Spider Queen. The Spider Queen looked back at it.

"Consider it a good gesture that I find your daughter really funny. Otherwise I would eat her Soul and gain her Soul Partner as well." The Spider Queen told the Wyvern boss.

She is just too cute! I knew Queen monsters were extremely fragile but seeing her accept the baby wyvern.

*Blush*

I could not help but find it more funny.

The Wyvern boss looked at me. Seeing the blush on my face, stood up on his hind legs revealing him and all his glory.

"Wyverns roar for the birth of my daughter and her Soul Partner!" The Wyvern boss declared.

Suddenly thousands of wyverns roared across the First Mortal Realm. That day the entire First Mortal Realm witnessed the wyverns fly across the sky.

If they had already met Rex and Wyvern's boss's daughter. They were flying to warn humans not to mess with that girl.

If they had not met Rex or the Wyvern's boss's daughter, even as an egg, they were flying to meet the successor.

The Wyvern boss went back on his normal legs. Seeing how we were not scared laughed again.

"Let me join you while you travel around the First Mortal Realm."

Suddenly the giant Wyvern boss became a Dragonborn. I heard of these creatures from legends.

Born from Dragons that stole human genes, it did not matter if it was a male or a female. They could imprint the genes of themselves or imprint the genes of the human into themselves. About thirty days later, a mystical egg would be found in the Dragon's nest.

From there on, the Dragon would take care of it. It would hatch a lot later than a normal Dragon egg. If a normal hatches in 100 years, the Dragonborn egg would hatch in 1000 years.

This was the main reason why most dragons did not use this. At a normal ten times length, a normal Dragon might have a chance to enter the Heavenly Realm. Using this chance they would forever seal their fate in the lower realm.

No one understands why some dragon eggs take longer and some shorter. Everyone agrees that meeting a Dragonborn is something one should treasure for all eternity.

Seeing the Majestic Wyvern boss in the form of a Dragonborn. Even the Spider Queen bowed her head before me.

"I never heard of a Wyvern being born in the form of a Dragonborn. I would like to talk to you some more." The Spider Queen spoke.

The Wyvern boss looked at me. I could tell he was looking at my cultivation. I even heard the emergency ding letting me know what he was doing. I ignored it and let him do what he wanted.

"It seems like he does not need much more before he ascends to the next realm. I hope you will prolong your stay a little longer and let me talk to all three of you." The Wyvern boss asked.

"I have no rush. I am just glad to have companions that like and trust me." I smiled brightening the cave system even more.

"My daughter has probably gone blind from this glow. I cannot blame him. His Soul is truly happy." The Spider Queen spoke.

The Wyvern boss felt a world of brightness was indeed headed towards this one. The one that would change everything would be Rex.
