We ran off to the graveyard while Champ was complaining to me about how dangerous this was, but I wasn't listening I was to focused on the fact that I was the mate of that werewolf that tried to kill us. What did Stine say his name was? Will-Blake! That's a nice name. He did have a six pack though. Wait! What? Stop! Don't think like that. You can't be with him! You don't love him! Besides he's a werewolf.

We had reached the graveyard I was walking with Stine and Champ.

"This is a bad idea" Champ said. I heard a twig snap.

"What was that?" Champ asked.

"Just a twig Champ....that you stepped on" I said.

"Oh sorry" Champ said. I laughed a little and patted his shoulder.

"So how did you get the nickname, Champ?" Stine asked.

"Yeah" I agreed.

"Oh its not a nickname" Champ said.

"Wait? That's your real name?" Stine asked

"Is it short for something" I questioned.

"My full name is, Champion" said Champ.

"Your actual name is, Champion?" Stine said as he started laughing. I elbowed him. "Sorry"

"My dad won a bronze back in the 92 Olympics" Champ said as he started to explain how he got the name.

"Oh! That's cool!" I said with a genuine smile.

"My mom, she was an all american sprinter and a two time debate Champion so they decided to name me 'Champion'" Champ finished.

"Oh so did they meet in the Olympics?" I asked.

"Yeah" He answered.

"That's awesome! Your name really fits you" I complimented. Stine laughed and I smacked his arm.

"What?"

"That's rude" I muttered so Champ didn't hear. Suddenly something grabbed my foot. I screamed and fell down. I looked a ghoulish hand was wrapped around my ankle.

"ALIVIA!" Champ shouted. The zombies head broke out of the grave. I froze and studied the face of the ghoul. It had green, decaying skin, yellow rotting skin, stringy, messy hair. Stine stepped on the ghouls hand and its hand fell off! I pulled the decapitated hand off my ankle and ran with Champ and Stine.

We ran and ran the ghouls following slowly behind. We saw Hannah and Zach.

"Zach! Hannah! Run! Ghouls!" Stine shouted and we all started running from the undead. We ran all the way to the fence, but it was locked, and we could only open it a little. We squeezed through the crack in the fence, but when it came to Stine he couldn't fit.

"I'm stuck!" Stine said. We tried pulling him through "No, go save yourselves!" Stine said.

"Okay, good luck" Champ said as he started to run away from the grave yard.

"No! I didn't mean it! CHAMPION!!" Stine shouted. We got him out of the fence just in time. "What kind of monster would take me up on that offer?" Stine said. "I'll kill him, where is that little imbecile? Wait for us, you coward!" Stine shouted to Champ.

We arrived at the highschool and were walking through the halls.

"Where did they put my typewriter?" Stine questioned. "I know it was this way...it might have been that way" Stine said in confusion. "We should split up"

"What? No have you ever read one of your books? You never split up!" Champ said.

"Come on! How many display cases could there be!" Hannah said as she pulled me and Champ with her. We walked down the hallways.

"Hannah, I've got a really bad feeling growing in my stomach" I said.

"It's fine, we'll get the typewriter, write the book, and put the monsters back in" Hannah said. We continued looking and we finally found it. We ran back and found Stine and Zach in the science room.

"There you are!" Hannah said. They looked towards us.

"Are you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost" I said. They didn't say anything.

"Okay, well, come on, we found the typewriter" Hannah said and we walked towards the display case with the typewriter in it.

"Oh my sweet darling, I've missed you so much, Mwah" Stine said as he placed a kiss on his typewriter. I held back a laugh.

"All right, so start writing" Zack said.

"Yes, but what's the story?" Stine asked.

"What do you mean, good guys win, bad guys lose, the end" I said.

"No, no, no, it won't work unless its a real goosebumps story. With twists, and turns, and frights, not to mention some...personal growth for our hero" Stine said.

"What?" Zach and I asked.

"Go to the gym, warn everyone. Tell them to barricade the school" Stine instructed.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To find someplace to write, Slappy's coming for me, I have a deadline, literally" Stine said. We all went to the gym and got on stage.

"All right everyone, listen up" Champ said, then he saw how big the crowd was "uh, listen to my best friends Zach and Alivia" Champ said as he handed Zach the microphone.

"Okay um, this is going to sound insane, but.....monsters have invaded Madison" Zach said. Everyone started laughing. I took the microphone from Zach.

"Guys, its the truth! They've blocked every road out of town, they've torn down the cell towers, we're cut off from the rest of the world. And they could be coming any second, so we need to work to-" I was cut off by one of the kids screaming.

"Ahh, its the boogey man, and he's picking his noes" The kid joked. I rolled my eyes.

"We're not making this up" Zach said.

"Ahhh there's a giant bug and it eating every bodies cars!" The kid said. My eyes widened. The praying mantis!

"Yeah, its getting old dude" A guy said.

"No, seriously-" the kid was cut off when he was grabbed by the praying mantis everyone was screaming.

"They're here..." I whispered.

"Everyone calm down! I know what to do, but I can't do it by my self!" Zach said. "Those things out there! They are R.L. Stine's monsters, and he's here, and he can fix this, but we need to buy him time to write! Don't worry he's a very fast writer" Zach said... I hope

"I'm gonna go see if I can find Stine. To see if he's done" I said to Zach and he nodded.

"Be careful, I love you" he said. I hugged him.

"I love you too" I said before running off. I ran out of the gym. I looked around trying to find Stine. I heard a low growl.

"Mine"
