Chapter 38: Guess I Should Start Looking For A Clearing Now

Temperature didn’t work the same in the spirit world as it did in the physical one. Yet, I still felt cold when I woke up inside of Luna’s domain.

I wasn’t sure how long I had been out for. But I felt like too much time had passed.

I also knew that I needed to make amends.

I felt almost atrophied when I stood. I really must have been gone for some time. I knew muscles didn’t exist in this place. So why did I still feel sore?

Maybe it was just that people weren’t meant to be here. Which meant that, maybe I really had gone too far. To hide away in my wolf’s domain, like some sort of a scared child. All because my mate abandoned me.

I had been reaching toward the surface, to give my wolf back her domain. Just then, I had called myself a scared child, when maybe all I really had needed was a little R&R. Imagine that. Kicking my wolf out of her spirit domain so I could get some rest.
