Chapter 10

(Coles Pov)

when I heard Ellie say she was only 17 I was devastated because she wouldn't know I was her mate yet and I didnt want to scare her away by telling her.

my sister kept asking Ellie questions I was about to yell at her for talking so much until she asked "so do you have any siblings Ellie" Ellie looked panicked she jumped up and was running for the door.

before she could leave I pulled her into my chest and held her close ahe broke down crying it broke my heart seeing her cry like that but she couldnt leave yet not until we ask her questions.

I knocked on my fathers office soor nd he said come in. me and ellie entered and my father told us to take a seat. we did as we were told and sat quietly. my father looked to ellie and asked her if she was ok answering some questions he had.

she looked hesitant as she liiked towards me I just smiled and nodded my head. she looked and my father and said sure. I could feel she was uneasy about it all but my father started asking his questions.

" Ellie who has been hitting you " he asks her and she looks to the ground it was hard to see her like this but we needed to know. I squeezed her hand a little to reassure her and she squeezed back.

after a few minutes of her being silent she started to cry " you have to get them away from him we need to help them before its too late" she said as she was crying

my father and I exchanged a few looks before he said " we will do everything in our power to help you and your siblings". she gave him a small smile she looked tired so I took her to my room to get some rest. as soon as her head hit the pillow she was out.
