9 THREAT

Seline grew up with her two favorite things to do... Making potions and practicing how to fight in both human and wolf form. In the sidelines, she tried to evade Victoria's schemes which always backfired. She gains new friends but still preferred to be alone because she knows she's different. Miranda, on her 15th birthday, told her that she belonged to lycan species and that she'll be a very powerful one.

On her last day of third grade in Junior high, Miranda told her that they need to leave cause something evil is looking for her. "Mother, who is looking for me? And for what reason? I know I'm still young and not yet powerful enough to fight who or what evil that is hunting me down."

"The elder said it was the rogue king," Miranda told her the truth. "Because of the prophecy that whoever will be your mate will be the great lycan. I do not want you to be mated to him. I want you to find your happiness by finding your one true mate."

"But mother, where are we going? What about Uncle Liam?" Seline murmured. "I will be going with you because I promised to protect you and your mother," Liam told her while packing some stuffs from her mother's room. "Liam!!! What were you doing in my room?" With her cheeks in red, Miranda scolded Liam. "Just tell her the truth. She is no longer a child, she will understand."

"I know already that you two mated," Seline giggled. "And I'm happy for you both. Uncle Liam, or should I say, Dad, just do not make my mother cry."

"I promise, baby girl. And thank you!" Liam sheepishly replied to Seline. "Your mother is a great woman and I love her so so so much."

"And I love you too, dad!" And she hugged both, her mother and new found father. "Family hug!!"

After so much preparation, they left the mountains and came down to the red moon pack. Beforehand, Liam contacted his former alpha and explained the situation to him that he had found his second chance mate which is a human so he left the pack. The alpha scolded him that he will accept anyone's mate as long as one belongs to the red moon pack.

When they arrived at the pack, Liam brought his family to his old house then went to the pack house to greet the alpha family. As soon as they stepped inside the house, a yell was heard. "What the hell are you doing in my house?" T'was Victoria.

The alpha restrained her daughter and welcome the Liam's family. "Welcome to the red moon pack. I am your alpha, Nicolas, and this is my luna, Anastasia, and my daughter, Victoria." Luna Anastasia stared at Seline especially at her red quarter moon shape on her forehead. She looked at Liam and received a nod. She wanted to hug her long lost daughter but she refrained from doing that. She looked at Miranda and smile. "It's Miranda, right. Welcome! I think we will be best friends." And she hugged Miranda then with aloofness, stood in front of Seline, Pat her head then hugged the girl so tight Seline thought her bones will crush.

After the so much introduction and lots of hugs, the alpha directed them at the training field where most of the pack were gathered for the welcome celebration for the new family members.
