10 THE FEAST

After the meet and greet at the pack training field, the alpha with the Luna together with Miranda and Liam left the gathering to talk. They saw that Seline was with some of her classmates and Aiden was with her to the fury hidden inside Victoria. She was madden at the sight of Seline with Aiden engrossed happily with other pack members. She just smiled and talked with her posse and other male members .

At the alpha's study, "tell me about our daughter? What is her favorite? What does she do in her spare time? Just please tell me about her?" The Luna begged Miranda. Though basically she stole their child, Miranda was still adamant to tell them everything but with a nod from Liam, she told them from the start.

Miranda narrated that she was tasked to go to red moon pack to save a pup on a full moon. The elder said that she'll bring hope to the lycan word. She specifically mentioned the word lycan. The luna tried to speak but she just closed her mouth and let Miranda continue. Upon arriving at the pack, it was said that the moon guided her at the pack burial site and found the baby or the pup already dead. But to her astonishment, the baby cried when the light of the moon shined on her. Liam was shocked when the baby cried but was scared when she saw Miranda appeared and took the baby then disappeared from his eyes. That's why he ran to the alpha and told what happened.

Miranda told them about her power that she's nurturing since she turned five and that she shifted when she turned thirteen. When she shifted, she brought Liam to their home and never let him leave because Liam taught her to fight in human and wolf forms.

"Thank you! I know that you taught her greatly 'cause you're a great fighter", the alpha said to Liam. "What's her ability?" asked the Luna.

"She's a healer," replied Miranda. "She loves her pet,  a wolf she found in the forest when it was just a puppy and full of bruises and she named it Aurora but later on changed it to Rory." Miranda laughed heartily and continued, "because her own wolf, a white wolf, told her that it's name is Aurora."

Everyone laughed at the wolf situation. Then she told them that the elder contacted her that the rouge king learned of her prophecy and looking for her now. He wanted her to become his mate and bore him a strong bloodlines.

"Over my dead body!" The alpha roared but the Luna pacify him by just touching his back. "Hush, my love, she is here with us, we will protect her, the pack will protect her."

"Just please don't tell the pack yet of her relationship with you to protect her identity. She needs to be stronger and nurtured her healing power." Miranda begged the alpha couple. "All the others that have learned about the prophecy know that she's from the alpha bloodline. Though she has a wolf now but it will evolve as lycan in the near future, I just don't know when."

The alpha looked at the Luna who was trying to not cry and when she nodded, "alright! But let her be around us."

"I understand alpha. We are already in your pack though you are the only ones who know about her wolf. She is always wearing perfume to mask her scent. Because I'm a human though a witch, she became my daughter the day I found her. Don't take away my connection with her." Miranda said. "She is one lucky girl because she has two parents who love her," Liam grinned.

"Let's go out and enjoy the feast," the alpha said. Soon, they went back to the festivity and mingled with the pack. Miranda called Seline out to joined their table and to be able to know more by the alpha couple. As she walked by, she was suddenly tripped and because she was looking at her mother, she didn't see who did that. Aiden who was always beside her grabbed her waist and steady her.

She looked back and saw Victoria looking at her with angry eyes. She smirked and walked forward.
