Leo was dressed in a black tuxedo, resting his hand on his desk while using his hand to support his chin. He looked towards the distance, lost in thoughts as he pondered on the meaning of the abilities he had unlocked after the previous night.

Unknown to him, numerous people would occasionally gather in front of his glass door, gazing at him with confused faces. Everyone could tell this was Leo Wright, the junior associate of the White Associates Law firm, but he was completely different at the same time.

Leo looked different, acted differently, and even spoke differently. Everything about him was just too elegant and different for them to understand.

How could someone change so much in one night?

Meanwhile, Leo gazed at the demonic energy ability and understood something straight away. This demonic energy was simply like the Mana points (MP) in video games he used to play when he was younger. With it, Leo could cast skills and perform various tricks. However, when he runs out of demonic energy, how does he replenish it?

Leo pushed the thought aside and looked at the next ability.

[Info: This grants the host sensitivity towards the demonic energy. Through this, the host can perceive demonic energy, control it and manipulate it to his will.]

"Wow..." Leo sat back as he raised his hand wondering if this thing actually works.

Even though he had seen the wonders of the system, it was only natural for Leo to still have some doubts.

"I'm human anyway. Doubting things is one of our specialties." Leo mumbled.

His gaze shifted to the door locking eyes with almost everyone there.

Swoosh!

In an instant, everyone hurriedly left the scene and Leo returned to scanning the list of abilities he had unlocked.

Leo shivered at the thought of what he could do with this ability when it comes to full maturity.

In his line of profession, this was more like a God-given skill. With it, Leo might never lose a case in his entire career. With such a possibility before him, why would Leo hesitate to throw in his points there?

Leo looked at his new stats and nodded in satisfaction. He silently reminded himself to give the charm ability a try later before shifting his gaze back to the list of abilities awakened.

"This explains the strange disappearance of the nail wounds on his back after last night's wild dance."

Hah.

Leo exhaled as he bit the bottom of his lips while the memory from the previous night passed through his mind.

When stepping out of his home this morning with Maria, Leo was stunned to see quite a few of his neighbors peeping from their doors in hopes of seeing the two who had ruined their entire night.

Leo felt great pride in this and what made him even more proud was the look of satisfaction and pleasure on Maria's face as she wished him farewell. Those were expectant eyes begging for another night.

"I'm badass." Leo muttered as he looked at the glass door a second time, but no one was there now.

Seeing this ability Leo raised an eyebrow and was completely tongue-tied. Although all these abilities were passive, they were all too amazing.

Leo's excited gaze shifted to the last ability on the list and a cruel smile ran through his face.

Cruel thoughts ran down Leo's mind as he considered who to test this on. He leaned back and bit his lips seductively before looking at his door again only to see Alicia standing there and gazing at him.

Alicia had opened the door and was stunned by Leo's unique charm today just as she set her sight on him. Leo looked her way and coincidentally, they locked eyes. As they did, Alicia felt her heart skip a beat.

Was Leo always this charming?

Seeing Alicia, Leo's smile faded.

After the news of her affair with the senior associate spread, Leo's feelings for her crumbled. Now that he felt better and more special than all these people, Alicia looked even less attractive in his eyes. He had shot past the level of drooling over her. Unbeknownst to Leo, this abrupt change in mentality was a subtle effect factored by the system.

"We got a case for you to look into. Stephan said you should handle it diligently and take it seriously." Alicia said while avoiding eye contact with him.

Hearing this Leo frowned.

Even without a special ability, he knew Stephan was never nice to any male associate. Outside the ladies who he slept with, Stephan threatened the rest like crap. So, selling him a story of Stephan Wall handing over an important case to him for no reason at all was not a story Leo would buy.

As soon as Alicia placed the file on his desk, Leo waved her off and picked it up. After going through everything, his eyes were blazing with anger.

The case handed over to him had something to do with a black factory worker who was dishonorably discharged from work after he was accused of stealing work equipment. Leo could guess Stephan Wall avoided this not just a case because of the client's race but also avoided that the pay was extremely low.

"You racist gold digger. It's only a matter of time to drag you out into the light." Leo said with frosty eyes.
