Strength of the Tide
The ground beneath their feet shook violently as the massive horde of black, bull-like beasts with flaming horns and tails came into view. Leo, standing on the city gate with Hellion by his side, watched in awe and trepidation as the sight of these fearsome creatures struck fear into the hearts of the normal soldiers and grimaced the faces of the totem masters.
In this world where humans and beasts had to coexist, such a horde was an apocalyptic threat. The enormity and power of the charging beasts were enough to make even the most seasoned soldiers pale in fear. The branch manager, Derek, and the other totem masters understood the gravity of the situation.
Leo, however, couldn't simply stand idly by. The urge to get involved was overwhelming. He turned to Derek, his expression determined, and declared, "I want to join this battle. I can't watch while the people of this city risk their lives without doing anything to help."
