Leo Wright closed the door of his office and sighed. He had just finished a grueling cross-examination of a hostile witness, and he needed a break, but he had no time to waste. He had more witnesses to interview before the trial starts. He was representing Madison Flare, a young widow who was suing her local priest, Father Charles for sexual assault on her son . Her husband, Rodney Flare Sr., had died in a freak accident at the construction site, leaving behind his wife and their six-year-old son, Rodney Jr.
During this time they had sort solace in the Lord, hoping to use it as a distraction form the tragedy that had befallen them. Unfortunately, Father Charles decided to be more than a spiritual guardian to little Rodney. That's where all the chaos started.
Leo walked to his desk and picked up the phone. He pressed the intercom button and spoke to his secretary, Lisa. "Lisa, can you send in the Flares, please? I need to talk to them before they testify."
