A Meeting With Stephan

Nestled in the heart of the city, surrounded by towering skyscrapers and bustling streets, stood the impressive building of Whites Associate, a prestigious law firm known for its brilliant lawyers and high-profile cases. From the rooftop of the building, one could take in a breathtaking view that left visitors in awe.

As you looked out from the rooftop, the city spread out before you like a glittering carpet of lights. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the city, and the sky was painted in shades of orange and pink. The buildings, stretching towards the sky, gleamed in the light, and the river snaked through the city, reflecting the colors of the sunset.

The view was both stunning and peaceful, a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city below. It was a place where one could pause, take a deep breath, and be reminded of the beauty of the world around them.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the lights of the city came to life, twinkling like stars in the darkness. The city buzzed with life, and from the rooftop, you could see people hurrying home from work, taxis weaving through traffic, and tourists snapping photos of the view.

But despite the chaos below, the rooftop of Whites Associate remained a tranquil oasis, a place to escape from the noise and commotion of the world. It was a reminder that even in the midst of the chaos, there was still beauty to be found.

Leo stood at the edge of the rooftop with his arms thrown wide open. He closed his eyes and allowed everything to flow through him. As he leveled up, his sensitivity towards the world had become far stronger. Normally, Leo would come here when he is bored, but today he came here for a different reason.

"Soon, all of this will be mine." Leo said with a crazed smile on his face.

He was dressed in a black suit that hugged his muscular frame, and his chiseled jawline was set in a determined expression. His hair was combed back neatly and tied into a ponytail.

With his current grace and charm, he could easily leave the life of a lawyer and become a model or an actor. With his current skills, Leo knew he would excel in so many things, coupled with his looks he was definitely a hot cake.

Leo's confidence swelled and was reflected in a proud smile blazing brightly on his face.

Thud.

"Hey, Le… Mr Wright."

A familiar voice filled with reluctance rang from behind and Leo turned only to be dazzled by a stunning sight.

It was a beautiful blonde woman in a tight black women's suit walking ahead of him. Her hair was perfectly styled, and her curves were accentuated by the form-fitting fabric of her suit.

"Alicia..." Leo said in a calm and confident tone.

If it was in the past he would be overwhelmed by this sight but the current him was completely different from before.

The confidence in his eyes made Alicia shy, forcing her to avoid eye contact while making her wonder when Leo became so bold.

"I checked your office, you weren't there. So I came here. I remember you tend to come here when free." Alicia said slowly as if she was picking her words.

Leo could feel her emotions through empathy. He could tell she wants him but was too ashamed to say it directly.

Ashamed or proud?

None of that mattered to Leo. If he wanted to get back at Stephan, taking Alicia had always been a part of his plan but now isn't the time. If he took Alicia now though, he would be directly declaring war which means both sides don't have to hide their intentions anymore.

In an upfront confrontation, Leo would lose because Stephan had a higher position in the company, more connections, and more power. For now, Leo simply needed to keep his head low and build the foundation. Once he was done, he would be able to take the next step forward.

"What do you want?" Leo said coldly and killed any plans of starting anything romantic here.

His eyes narrowed and a hint of hostility could be seen in them.

"Ste-Stephan wants to see you. He has a new case for you to handle" Alicia said while avoiding eye contact.

She seemed disappointed and sad but didn't want Leo to see it.

"Lead the way." Leo said indifferently with a hand gesture.

Alicia was stunned and forced to head back. She led the way to Stephan's office while Leo followed her from a distance.

As they moved, Leo was greeted by everyone he came in contact with. After the events of the last week, he had become famous in this branch of the firm.

Everyone was aware of his relationship with Emily and Sarah as the two were proud enough to leave hints that something spicy happened that night, while also leaving a hint for people to know that Leo was far better than they think he was. At the same time though, they made it obvious that they planned to keep him to themselves.

The entire branch turned into a battle zone as these two women drew the line and stood together with the hopes of keeping Leo to themselves. When he heard these things from Charlie, Leo was amused and almost choked laughing. He didn't deny anything, neither did he affirm any.

As for Sarah and Emily, after their performance that night, he decided to keep them to himself for now. He had discarded the thought of dropping women and dumping them for another person, well, depending on their status.

Leo was a person who cared about people and their feelings, so he decided to just make his circle wide and flexible. Instead of dumping every girl he came across, he would put them through some series of tests and determine if they are worthy to be a part of his harem. Only elite women with outstanding skills will be allowed to be a part of this magical circle, so he didn't mind letting these two brag a bit. They had earned the right to after all.

Alicia stepped aside when she reached Stephan's door and the mood suddenly changed.

Leo's gaze turned hostile as his fist clenched. This man showed his intention and he was sure his actions pissed the man off terribly.

While they were not making their feud public for now, they were both aware that the other had their daggers hidden and ready for the perfect moment. His encounter with Stephan this time will definitely be more interesting than the past ones.

"Let's see how it goes." Leo said as he pushed the door open.
