Aurelia and Dixon grew up in an adoption center. Their parents died in a car accident when Dixon was 5, and Aurelia was 2. They were the quiet kids. Always together. They lived there till Dixon was 11, and Aurelia was 8. They got adopted by a lovely couple. Turns out that that lovely couple was part of a gang. They adopted them so they could have been trained so they could join the gang years later. When they grew up, they spended less time with each other. They got different interests besides one surfing. When they hit the age of 16, they got their first mission. It was simple for first-timers. They both succeeded on their mission and got sent on more. A little less fun now and then, but always the same. They would meet every week to go over details. Sometimes they did it face to face, sometimes not. But always at the same time. After two years of missions, one day, Dixon came home early because something had happened. Something bad.
