42. Meeting Again

However, Darren actually pulled Calista's neck and kissed the lips of the angry woman, deeply in front of many restaurant visitors and waiters who smiled at their intimacy.

Darren wiped Calista's lips with his thumb in a gentle motion that hypnotized Calista to become more obedient and silent.

"That's right, I want to take a walk and get to know a lot of guys here." Calista's wide smile and the content of her words made Darren clench his jaw.

"That's right, I'll just accompany you okay," said Britney again.

"You need a lot of energy to get to know a lot of guys. So, never leave this place before you finish your meal." Darren didn't care what Britney said. He only cares about his contract wife.

He remembered what happened yesterday, when Calista saw him and Britney kissing, Calista immediately disappeared to Bali. He doesn't know what she will do now when she sees Britney again.

Calista exhaled and immediately devoured her food quickly.

"Just take it slow or you'll choke," Darren said when he saw Calista eating like a school kid who was afraid to be late because she was late.

Britney was silent and snorted sarcastically seeing Calista, who she considered a rival from this second.

Darren resumed his breakfast not caring that there was another woman by his side.

In an instant, Calista had finished the food on his plate.

Darren walked quickly after Calista out the door but the woman was gone. Darren shouted calling for Calista while occasionally swearing harshly but he still couldn't find it.

"Where did she go? She doesn't know the area around here. Damn!!!" Said Darren cursed himself for not being able to stop Calista from leaving.

Meanwhile, Calista was actually hiding beside the car of one of the visitors who were there, squatting down. She couldn't have gone far in a split second so she decided to hide before her husband found her.

"You? What are you doing here?" A deep voice startled her. Calista lifted her head and squinted her eyes because the man's body turned her back on the scorching sun so blinding her eyes.

Calista looked around her first, after she felt safe, she immediately stood up. But her body felt unsteady due to the effect of his low blood pressure, it was easy to sway if she stood up suddenly from squatting.

The man caught Calista's hand and prevented her body from falling to the side.

"You, what are you doing here?" Now it was Calista who asked, reuniting with the strange man she had met at the office a few days ago, Lewis.

"You haven't answered my question and now you're asking me back," Lewis answered sarcastically.

"Ah well. Thank you!" Calista nodded once as a sign of gratitude and then she immediately ran away from the place.

"Where are you going? Know where you're going? I don't see any friends or anyone waiting for you." Lewis' question brought Calista to her senses. She didn't know where she was going and she didn't know anyone there.

"I'm going back to the hotel," Calista replied.

"I'll accompany you. Where's the hotel you're staying at?" Lewis grabbed Calista's hand and opened the front door for Calista to come in.

"Not far from here. Sorry for the trouble." Calista didn't look Lewis in the face from the start. The woman who is very beautiful and looks fresh in her green dress always looks down whenever she speaks.

"Your attitude is very different from the first time we met. Rough and explosive." Lewis said, glancing at his side as the car left the restaurant area. Lewis was about to have breakfast there but was stopped because he saw Calista was hiding next to his car that had just been parked.

"Oh really? Sorry then. You also provoked my emotions." Calista replied while pursing her lips. Lewis smiled faintly at the look on Calista's face, which looked like a sulky child.
