Another Twist

The rain finally stopped and Wang Yue Qi walk to the bus stop and went back home. On a huge luxury villa, he stood at the gate and the servant opened it for him.

Entering the villa, an old man is waiting for him while watching news in the television but as soon as the door opened he stood up and smile. "Yue, you're here." He welcomed him warmly. "I ask the chef to prepare your favorite dish."

He smiled at him. "Thank you, grandfather." He showed his gratitude sincerely. "I'm hungry, let's eat."

Eating happily at the dining room, the memory from earlier flash in his mind once again and he can't help but to smile. He remembered how that young lady tried to compete with him and how sharp-tongued she is.

His grandfather noticed his expression and he smiled while observing him while eating. "What makes you smile, Yue?"

He looked at his grandfather and say, "Nothing, I remembered something funny at the company earlier."

"Is that about the intern girl?" His grandfather said while smiling. "I can say that she is beautiful."

Wang Yue Qi looked at his grandfather in daze. "Grandpa, did you stalk me?"

"Well, my assistant saw that you are having a discussion with the girl before you went home." He said. "Don't worry; I won't ruin your relationship even if she only came from a low family background."

"You must be kidding." He protested. "We're having an argument. How am I supposed to like a girl with a short-tongue?"

"Argument is sometimes good for new couples." He told him. "It will deepen the understanding between the both of you, don't you think?"

"You didn't understand it, grandpa." He complained. "Zhao Shang Fei and I are just strangers to each other. She even degraded my position in the company."

His grandfather nodded. "I see the big problem here."

Wang Yue Qi sighed comfortably hearing his grandfather's reply. "I'm happy that you understand it, grandpa."

"I understand it and of course, it's because you're my grandson. I know the problem of her." he said happily. "It's because she thought that you won't give her a carefree life and she is also a wise girl."

"I know what you're thinking and I won't let her destroy our plan." He said seriously while he continued eating the steak. "Don't worry, grandpa. I'm still too young to get married. I promise that I'll bring you your granddaughter-in –law very soon."

"About that, Yue." He sighed uncomfortably. "An old friend of mine is very worried about his granddaughter. His doctor diagnosed that he won't live for long. His granddaughter is very filial and she didn't want his grandfather to suffer. Her parents died because of an accident and she's already an orphan when she was three years old."

He looked at his grandfather lazily. "Grandpa, when did the Wang Family become a charity?"

"Yue, be polite. This old man is the godfather of your father. He also a diligent man from a common family." He explained. "He was afraid that his granddaughter will be left alone when he died."

"Then what do you want me to do?"

"To be honest, Yue, your father betrothed you to her when your still a four years old and your father wants to strengthen our relationship with her family not because of financial source but because of the bond."

"Grandpa, I don't get it." He said while putting down the fork. "Why would dad betroth me when I was still a kid to strengthen our family bond to hers? Did dad want anything from them?"

"No, he doesn't want anything from them." He replied to him. "Your father is very naughty when he was still in high school. One time, three drunken men were harassing a girl, who is your mother, your dad tried to save her and yes, he saved her because your dad find a way for her to go when there's a chance. After your mother already gone from his sight, the three men tried to killed him but then Zhao Xu, the son of my friend, helped him and Zhao Xu even got the a head injury because one of the men smashed a bottle on his head. After a while the police came, your mother called the police and that's also how your father and mother meet."

"So her father saved my father and that's why my father betrothed me to her because my father owed her father his life?" he is trying you straighten the things and guessing the main point of his grandfather.

"Yes, that's the main reason why your father betrothed you to her." he said to Wang Yue Qi. "And of course, your father will reward you another percent of shares if you marry her. But if you didn't marry her, according to your father's last will, the ten percent shares will be given to her."

"Wait, dad included her in his last will?"

"Yes, he did." His grandfather took a small sip of water. "And not just that, he will also give her the villa located at the end of the city."

"But that's my villa!" he protested. "Why would dad give it to her?"

"That's his will and property, I can't do anything about it." He smiled at him. "It's your choice if you follow your dad's last wish or not."

Wang Yue Qi calmed himself. "What's the name of that girl?" Then he took the glass of water and drinks it.

"Zhao Shang Fei."

Hearing the name of the girl, he was choked in surprised. What's a coincidence? The girl from earlier also have the same name as his father's friend daughter. "I can ask her to marry me but you have to give me more time before I reveal my true identity to her." he said. "I won't let my enemy use another method to defame me."

"Well, I'm looking for that." His grandfather sighed happily. "I wish both of you a happy future together."
