Feeling Ashamed

Tope was so amaze how small a baby can be and vulnerable.. Yhuna's baby was so beautiful. White like a snow indeed...

Entering the room Martin look at hus wofe with relief. He was in a panic as soon as he read the text messages from his mom and Tope. He left Del as soon as he seen the messages...

He felt ashame of himself yet Yhuna don't know yet... He better stop what he is doing before it's too late... Martin's thought bothers him alot. "You should have seen your baby! "Tope said. "why? He lies down to sleep.. He needed rest.. as soon as he receive a text message from Tita Beth about Yhuna's giving birth and that Martin wasn't around... He was the one who sits and wait outside.. Everytime the nurse came in and out of the delivery room he becomes anxious and nervous atvthe same time. He feels so much relieve as soon as the nurse announce that Yhuna is safe and sleeping giving birtj to a healthy baby girl.. Yhuna doesn't need to know how he was the one handling the admission and stuffs lile that in the hospital rather than Martin.

Martin was a bit ashame of what Tope did for his wife. He just remained sitted at the right side of Yhuna's bed,watching his wife asleep. He needed to clear his mind. He have a daughter... He don't want to ruin a good father image...

Assoon as Yhuna woke up, "Babe, you wabt to eat? arr you hungry? "Martin stand up and ame near her.

"No thanks! "Yhuna answered face unreadable. Tope on the otherhand was listening whule his eyes are close.

"are you mad at me? "Martin said.

"should I be mad at you? have you done something bad to me? "Yhuna ask looking directly at Martin's eyes. "what do you mean by that? "Martin denies not looking in Yhuna's eyes. "Who is she Martin? "Yhuna said in a low voice. "Nobody. What are you talking about? "Martin answered her with a bit of tremble in his voice. "Keep lying to me then. I won't ask you again. Please leave. You keep on breaking my heart. It is too much for me to take in a day. "Yhuna said firmly yet about to cry. "what did I do to deserve this cruelty from you? "Yhuna said. "What? please don't say that Babe... There is nothing... You don't have to fear anything.. I love you and will always be here for you... There is nobody... " He said. Tope,listening to the conversation was a bit frustrated by Martin's answers to his wife. He felt bad for Yhuna. He promise himself to be with her until she can move on her own and at ease already to take care of the baby... he slowly move to let Martin and Yhuna know he is about to wake...

"Hey guys! so tired... Oh! Yhun, do you want to eat? "Tope asked Yhuna... Yhuna nod her head and smiled to Tope. She knew that he was up all morning waiting for her to get out of the delivery room... It was the nurse who told her...

"Mrs. Yhuna David, You should sleep and your husband too.. His been up all morning waiting for you outside the delivery room. He was so worried. "The nurse said while checking her BP (blood pressure). She just smiled to the nurse. She knew why Tope was so tired. "I want a wanton mami... and an ice cream... could you buy me please? "Yhuna said looking directly to Tope.

"Sure. You have to regain your strenght after that labor aches.. "Tope muttered in a low voice.

Martin was so out of the world the way Yhuna treated him. He feels like he doesn't exist. He looks at his wife and feel sorry for not being with her in the very moment she needed him the most...

He knows how Yhuna will be tresting him from now on... He is hoping it won't change her feelings... He needed to stop his stupidity with Del... before it gets overboard... and Yhuna will find out and be hurt more and more....
