Amelia wipes the tears away

When Amelia was rescued and brought back to her father's place, she ran directly to him. He was holding a meeting with one of his clients at that time. He looked at her and then gestured to her to come near him. He then introduced proudly to his client,

"This is my daughter, Amelia. She is my angel. She is adventurous and just recently she went on a trip all by herself. I am planning to involve her in my business as soon as possible. She is bright and…"

Lorenzo kept on praising his daughter to them while Amelia just rolled her eyes inside her head. 'When did he allow her to go alone? Didn't he arrange the bodyguard to follow me all this time?' She thought but did not voice it out. She just smiled and kept on nodding her head when required.

Once the meeting was over, Lorenzo took her away to have breakfast.

"You must be hungry. How was your trip?" He asked as if he did not know!
