The Bait

She got to his chambers and knelt down before the King, wearing an innocent face. 

The was shocked to his bones. His wife had never apologized to anyone on her knees, her entire life. 

'Mmmn maybe if she is doing this, I should forgive her, afterall everyone deserves a second chance.' The King thought. 

''Alex I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me. I acted on impulse, I am very sorry. I hope you can find a place in your heart to forgive me.'' The Queen apologized with tears forming in her eyes. 

The King, Alex, was moved and touched by her acts. He was really happy thinking she was about becoming a new leaf. He thought she would change for good and become a good version of herself. 

He made towards her and raised her from the floor. 

'I forgive you love. I forgive you Seria, my Queen. The mother of my…'' The King was interrupted by the shout just right behind them. 

''Royal father!'' A voice interrupted them.
