Chapter 13

Kenji walked out of the shop with Dani following close behind. They both walked towards his black car that was parked at the curb. Kenji opened the passenger door for her which made Danielle blush before quietly thanking him.

“Do you need to stop by Tony’s house for clothes or anything?” Kenji asked while sticking the key in the ignition. “Actually, you can borrow my clothes, we aren’t stopping anywhere.” He said while starting the car and pulling away from Rincila.

“Are you sure?” Dani asked and was met with a quick nod of his head.

“Of course, you look adorable in my shirts.” Kenji smiled and Dani squirmed in her seat with a light pink on her cheeks.

Kenji let his hand rest on her knee and Dani felt like she was about to explode. She slowly took his hand into her own, playing with his fingers.

They stopped at a red light and Kenji leaned over and kissed her cheek, squeezing her hand gently before pulling away. Dani laughed at him and pretended to push his hand away.
