NINETY-FOUR

Two days later, I lay on the same bed as Rose, and felt kind of guilty, it was our...my fault Luis left and Mack wasn't talking to Ruby, all I hoped was that they'd make it through this early ready of their faith...

I went to brush my teeth when I heard a beautiful voice, singing in the next room and went to see...Lucy, she was singing...

"I didn't know you could sing."I said.

"You never asked."She said.

"What were you singing by the way?"

"I've got my mind made up, and I won't turn back..."

I immediately hugged her and she smiled and hugged me back then I asked,"So what would you do about Luis?

"Wait, whatever happens, I'm sure will be for the best."

"Your words are amazingly scriptural, have you, ever..."

"Yes, I read it a lot in my acting career, mostly as part of the show, but never paid much attention to it, not until now."

"Rose and i were going for a prayer meeting today, would you like to come along?"I asked.

"Could the kids come along?"She asked.

"Of course."

"Then I'd love to..."

Ruby walked towards Mack, who turned the other way and sighed, she couldn't lose him too.

Walking towards the kitchen, the world began to spin as a throbbing pain split her head in two.

She screamed loudly then fainted, the last thing she saw was Mack's chest as he lifted her up and ran out of the room...

"You're pregnant madam."The doctor spoke.

Ruby began hyperventilating and Mack tried to calm her down as the doctor asked what was wrong, then Mack said,"We almost lost our first baby, her body tried to agglutinate its blood."Using the demeaning pronoun as it was the most suitable for the situation.

The doctor tilted his head, then smiled warmly and said,"You're going to have a healthy baby."

"How do you know?!"Ruby asked, scared.

"I always check and double check the baby's most probable genotype as inherited from yours as any good gynaecologist, your baby will be fine."

Ruby's breathing slowed, but deepened as she slowly turned towards her husband who immediately kissed her in front of the doctor, hugging her and, with tears in his own eyes, telling her they were going to have a baby, a healthy, living baby with little to no need of incubation.

First off, we prayed for the developing baby once we got to know of its existence, then we celebrated with the parents to be.

That night, Ruby lay silently on her bed, as coming from the forest were several dozen silhouettes, with Anput as leader.

Lucille slept besides her mother, brother and sisters, not at all because there wasn't enough space in my home, but that they wanted to comfort her after Luis' leaving, then ended up falling asleep, tired after the prayers.

Lucy decided to let them sleep with her in the end and from the shadows emerged a low pitched growling as a lioness started crawling towards them, being followed by several other creatures, Sekhmet stood on her two feet and over looked the little Lucille, who made even her jealous, despite her already being inhabited, and Lucy, her old nemesis...

Rose lay beside me on the mat on the floor as that was where we'd been sleeping recently, again, not because of lack of space, when Anubis, himself, came with Osiris and the rest of the gods, it was the night of the eclipse...

Rose's eyes fluttered open when she saw me, all black and bruised, tied to a tree with a hawk like creature ready to rip my neck open.

She screamed but no words came out of her mouth as she had been gagged.

She struggled but Anubis pulled the back of her head and said,"Smell that? That's the ell of your fear... it's intoxicating..."

She was breathing heavily and her...my life was flashing before her eyes as tears streamed down when the razor sharp feathers on the bird like creature's wings were grazing my neck, flashes, giving her a headache.

She winced and looked down as the cloth was forced out of her mouth, leaving a lingering pain in her jaws.

They then forced a slightly sweet wine like drink down her throat and she fell to her side, motionless and I yelled her name in fear as her breathing was accelerated while her eyes darted from place to place.

...for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world...

Fear, he feeds on fear...faith, he cannot stand it...

She began mumbling something and he stopped chanting and looked at her with his eyes widened.

He kicked her in the side to get her to shut up and the unconscious me could do nothing, but she only spoke louder,"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However,do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice...that your names are written in heaven...

Anubis yelled in fury and grabbed Rose by the neck, finally silencing her, but heard another person speaking, me.

I kept quoting scriptures in prayer as the bird yelled in pain, so as all the others, Rose also continued and having not eaten once the entire previous day, we had faith, that it would work, and not us only, Lucy and even Ruby had been fervently praying, after about ten minutes of constant prayer, all the people had stopped writhing in pain, and weren't covered in fur, feathers, scales and general animal coverings, they all lay motionless.

I was able to get myself free then ran to Rose, who hugged me, then we turned back to Anubis and Rose immediately saw...Mr Welshes...
