Suddenly a familiar voice came from behind them.

"Now, now, let's not fight among ourselves and continue this exam."

Yami said in an uninterested manner. "What are you doing here, old lady?"

"*cough* William, you're unable to sense his magic because he doesn't really have any magic. I can't say anything about his grimoire as he didn't use it yet. But he had trained his sword to a very high level."

Hearing him, all the captains were very surprised.

"Hmm, so he's just a peasant without any magic," Silva said smugly.

Yami unsheathed his sword and released his magic as he said. "Watch your mouth, Silver."

"Stop it, Yami! Don't forget where you're! The exam is still going on." But the voice interrupted them again.

"Tch," Yami clicked his tongue before retreating his aura.

In a corner, Sekke thanked his luck as he stopped himself from challenging Asta a minute ago. Looking at the big cut in the ground, he gulped down in fear.

On the other hand, Yuno smirked as he already expected the scenario.

The other battles also wrapped up quickly.

At the end of the tests, the captains then explained the grading process.

"This concludes the exam. Now... Candidates whose numbers are called, please step forward." William announced. "The squad captains will raise their hands if they would like you to join their squad. The Candidates will decide if they would like to accept or decline, and if more than one captain chooses them, they may choose which squad they'd like to join. But if no one raises their hands then that candidate fails."

"Candidate #1, step forward."

"Y- yes sir."

"No offers"

And so the process continued until it was Yuno's turn.

"Next #164."

"Yes, sir." Yuno stepped forward.

"All wish to offer, please raise your hand."

"What?" Someone in the crowd exclaimed

"Seriously?"

"All the Captains... raised their hands?!"

"Th-That's amazing. I- I thought that only royalty and nobles could join the Golden Dawn."

"Even the Silver Eagles? Seriously? But he's a kid from the boonies!"

Yuno said loudly. "Please allow me to join the Golden Dawn."

"Next, #165."

Asta stepped forward.

"#165, 2 offers!"

Alex looked up and saw Yami and Fuegoleon's hands raised among the nine captains.

He smirked and said to Fuegoleon, "Thanks for the offer, Sir. But I have already given my words to someone. So, I choose Black Bulls."

"What?"

"He chooses The Worst One!"

"Seriously!"

"He rejected Crimson Lion!"

"What a fool!"

Fuegoleon stared at him before smiling lightly. "You really got a good one, Yami."

Yami just smirked and looked at Alex while the selection continued.

After the exam was concluded, Alex met with Yuno and wished him luck for the future before walking over to Yami.

"Let's go, captain. Or do you have something to do too?"

"Hmm, I'm bored already waiting for you."

"Umm, excuse me Yami-- this is a pretty big gate to keep up for so long." Finral interrupted. "Can you go through it already?"

Alex's face twitched as he thought. 'Do you have a death wish, Finral?'

"Huh? You think you can order me?" Yami glared at Finral. "Just suck it up, dig deep, and surpass your limit."

"What?" Finral said with a long face.

The four of them passed through the gate and reached the Black Bull's hideout which was present in a forest in the commoner realm.

Yami asked, "Well? Pretty magnificent, isn't it?"

Alex looked at the building and his face twitched. 'From what angle did you call it magnificent!'

"Welcome to Black Bulls!" Gordon murmured in a low voice.

Alex smiled, "Thank you, Gordon."

"Huh, you understand what Gordon says?" Finral looked at me with a surprised expression.

"Yeah. He welcomes me in the Black Bulls." Alex said before walking over to the gate. He pushed it open and entered inside.

And the first thing that greeted him was a big fireball aimed at his face.

He sighed and summoned the demon slayer and repelled the attack back at Magna who was chasing Luck.

"Okay, now I'm real- *Boom*" Magna was shouting at Luck but suddenly his fireball slammed into his face throwing him towards the opposite wall.

Everyone inside the building was dumbfounded by this scene, even Vanessa who had a hangover.

"Hmm, you settled it quickly." Yami took a puff and said.

Finral was also dumbfounded unable to say anything.

"Now then," Alex stepped forward and released his aura. "Hello everyone! My name is Asta and I'm the new member of Black Bulls. Nice to meet you."

Everyone was dumbfounded again as this was the first time they saw someone introducing himself like that, aside from Yami

"Hahaha..." Yami laughed loudly. "That's one hell of an introduction. Finral, get him familiar with everyone."

"R-Right," Finral cleared his throat and said. "Well, you've already met him, but... This is Gordon Agrippa."

Gordon whispered. "Nice to meet you"

"He's pretty gloomy, and we have never know what he's speaking, but he's a good guy. Well, you can understand what he is speaking tough."

"And over here is Vanessa Enoteca. She'll get in your face when she's drunk, but she's a good person."

"My, my, aren't you just my type? Hmm, you have a strong body too." Vanessa said as her hands roamed over his upper body. "How about you have a drink with me?"

"Sure. But I might be too much for you to handle, girl~" Alex smiled lightly, raising his eyebrow provocatively, causing her to blush.

"Going forward, he's Luck Voltia. A battle freak but still a good person."

"Nice meeting you!" Luck greeted before asking. "Do you like to fight?"

"Hey." Someone interrupted.

Alex turned his head and saw Gauche, the one with a sister complex.

"Look." He said as he showed a picture to Asta. "This is my little sister Marie. She's an angel."

"So," Alex tilted his head.

"Listen well. If you lay a hand on Marie, I'll kill you."

Alex's face twitched as he said. "Stay away from me, you sis-con!"

"This is Charmy Paplitson. She eats way too much, but she's a good person."

*Nom nom nom nom*

Asta didn't understand anything she said while eating.

"This is Grey. I don't get him, but he's a good guy. Can you communicate with him, Asta ?" Finral asked.

Alex shook his head.

"And the one you just sent flying is Magna Swing. He's a delinquent, but he's a good guy."

"And I'm Finral Roulacase. I'm super popular. And last but not least, the Captain of the Black Bulls, Yami Sukehiro!"

"Well, there are other members too. But they are either on missions or leave or whatever!" Yami added.

"Hmm, so you're the one who just smashed that fireball into my face." Magna approached Alex with a bruised face.

"Yep," Alex said lightly.

"Haha, I almost died by that. You're pretty good punk." Magna laughed and patted his shoulders. "But it's still not enough to get one of these robes. You have to convince me, the real man Magna Swing first."

And with that, everyone walked outside to the open area.
