It was two days of marching through the wilderness before they found that which they were looking for – or, more accurately, it found them.

The snows had all but entirely melted by now, and they were using the untrodden southern road to its fullest. Rarest did they see any man coming the other way – there was no reason to go that far south anymore. Not with the Stormfront in the state it was in.
