Preparing Qin Yiling to face the most underdeveloped conditions would not be a bad thing, because even If the other world turned out to be prosperous and progressive, she would be able to overcome difficulties with her own ability and improve her situation.

On the other hand, if that world was less developed than this one and she was dressed too well, it would be plainly obvious that she was from a foreign land.

Immediately, she went back to her room and started to re-organize her suitcase. She didn't know if she would be able to bring it through the time tunnel with her, so she could only try to keep it as light as possible.

She packed only one set of clothes for each season of the year as she did not want to be burdened by her suitcase. If only she had a storage space like her mother's, she would have brought everything along. Unfortunately, she did not.

Next, she packed a sharp military knife as a weapon for self-defense. Just this handy weapon would be enough as she had her combat and fighting skills to rely on.

Apart from clothes and protective weapons, money and medical supplies for emergencies were a must as well.

Of course, currency from this world would not be useful in the other world, but gold, silver, and jewelry were definitely valuable universally. She wore two gold bracelets on her left and right wrists each, and another jade necklace on her neck.

That was not all. She grabbed another handful of valuable pearls and tucked them into her pocket.

She would need to rely on these for her new life in the other world after she time-travels. Naturally, more was better, and her family had nothing but an abundance of these valuables.

Then, she packed another pouch of medicine, which contained pills that she had made herself. Although she was only eighteen, she had already graduated from university.

She had majored in Pharmacy. At the same time, thanks to the system her mother possessed, she had traveled to the postmodern era, hired a teacher at a high price, and made use of her two-month summer vacation to gain pharmaceutical knowledge and expertise.

She had originally planned to take the postgraduate entrance exam and further her studies in Pharmacy, but no one expected her life's trajectory to change so suddenly.

Still, she had always been an optimist, always facing anything that came her way head-on. She only became stronger when challenged, and was definitely not someone who backed down or gave in easily.

Since fate had such a plan for her, she looked forward to whatever surprises the future held. Besides, she was also very curious about the man in her dreams!

She was dying to know what kind of person the man she was destined to be with was, and whether she could truly entrust herself to him.

The reason that she believed and accepted so readily that she had a destined partner was all because of her parents' love story. She was now encountering what her mother had experienced. She hoped that the man for her would not disappoint.

An hour later, Qin Yiling came to the living room with a bamboo woven suitcase.

The corners of her mouth twitched slightly when she saw the four leather suitcases lain out on the ground. Did her parents think that she was preparing for an apocalypse?

It looked like they had packed every household belonging for her to bring along!

"Dad, Mom, are you sure I would be able to carry all of these on my own?"

"…" Her parents smiled wryly.

As parents, naturally, they could not bear for their precious daughter to suffer. Any time they saw an item that looked useful for their daughter to bring with her, they immediately packed it into a suitcase. Before they knew it, they had already filled four whole suitcases.

But it wasn't their fault–the suitcases were too small! In fact, there were so many more items that they wanted to include but didn't.
