Preparing to Time-Travel (1)

Since Qin Yiling had made up her mind, her mother prepared to pack some supplies for her daughter. As both of them discussed enthusiastically about what to pack, her father walked in.

He had just called her eldest brother, who said that he had not felt anything ominous recently. This meant that Duo Duo would not be in any danger during her upcoming time-travel trip.

Her eldest brother had the special ability to predict the future and could avoid danger in advance. Since he didn't sense any danger, their parents felt more at ease.

However, when her father saw the eager discussion between mother and daughter, he couldn't help but voice his doubts and worries.

"Duo Duo, which time period are you traveling to?"

Qin Yiling stared blankly. "…"

Could she say that she didn't know?

Her father then asked, "Does the time tunnel allow you to pass through with your suitcase and supplies?"

Her mother was at a loss for words."…"

"Oh no! The system was tied to herself. Every time they traveled through the tunnel, her family never needed to bring any suitcases because her system had its own storage space."

"But if her daughter was separated from her, could she still carry her suitcase along?"

They had never experienced such a situation before, so they didn't know if she could.

Her father's words were like a splash of cold water that instantly sobered them. They had overlooked all of these issues.

When Qin Yiling saw her mother's look of vague uncertainty and hesitation, she shook her head helplessly. "I don't know either. There weren't any clues in the dream. I couldn't identify anything at all. But there is one thing I'm sure of—the man in the dream had short hair. I couldn't see anything else."

Regarding the incident that happened when she was young, she had no memory of it at all. How would she know which time period it was?

Besides, in these dreams from the past few days, that man was soaked in blood and stranded in a dark, eerie mountain forest. She could not gather any useful information at all.

Her father pondered. "Since he had short hair, he must have been in a modern era, but we just don't know which year it was."
