88. Celebration. *

Seeing this many, this happy was something else.

We placed Ilianna on a beautiful carved chair her puppy in her lap, and let that people give her good wishes for another happy year.

She looked embarrassed but, handled it with grace. Ciren and her little friends were around her for support.

" She looks happy."

" Your good... damn good job my love."

I leaned back on him and enjoyed the her smiles. He worked very hard today we both did.

" Did you get my jam? "

" Lots of it..I left it in our room." - he suggestively liked my neck and ear sending chills through me.

I reached behind running my hand through his hair.

We left our daughter with the adorning masses to find something to drink before these animal finished it all.

This many people could drink the Sen dry, if not for the fact it's only water.

Inside were alot of people as well. We went to the kitchen where a small circle was around Carlos.

" All you need is egg yolk, and stirring rapidly, little bit of vinegar, some lemon juice.." - he was busy stirring a bowl of something. "..now gradually add cold oils and stirring until creamy..a little more salt and ..how is it? "

He offers the finished white paste to mother on some fried potatoes and ..since she was right next to him observing..she ate it with a smile.

" Ohh whoa...it goes incredibly well. It's delicious Carlos. "

I see we dropped the formalities.

" You're too kind dear Seline. Please all, enjoy some. I'll make more. Wanna help? "

" Hmm.."

I looked at Zephyr's victorious smile and pinched him hard.

" What!? Do you see me there? Pushing them? " - he directed my head back to them. " Love you can't manufacture that kind of chemistry. "

Looking at them working more of that sauce. She looked a different kind of happy.

" How did you even got the idea in the first place? "

He sipped some whisky and I noticed with a smile him cringed, just like we all did.

" He asked about her. Like how he asked about you all but he ..I don't know. It felt like he was especially interested her. "

" Even, if that's true he is still.."

" Married..I know. " - he looked at with a very tired expression. " Trust me love, if he wants to leave her it will be his own choice...but, if asks me what I think? I will tell him.. he deserves a greater love."

" Hmm..what is that thing he made!? " - I saw the crowd flying away tasting it meaning mother wasn't just being nice.

" I don't know..let's try some. By the way can you think of anyone that passionate about food..maybe you.."

" Yes, I get it love. Let's eat something before we get soaked tonight. "

I put down my empty glass and took him there by his hand.

" Sweetheart! You must try this..it's called mayonnaise. Sounds fancy right? "

I took some potatoes she offered dipped into them.

It was great, creamy and added a good flavour to them I bet it paired well with meats too.

" It very nice indeed. Sound so simple too."

" Huh? Zeph? Impressive aye? "

I feed him some and he nodded with a pleasant expression.

" It's good stuff Em..just one question. Why the apron? "

He did look a little silly in the white cloth covered his front.

" It's your clothes..I didn't wanna unnecessarily fowl them."

We all soon ate a disturbing amount of mayonnaise after that.

Everyone enjoyed the taste and just in time to Anna and Ciren to join and try some.

" Dad?..can you take me up flying? "

It wasn't unexpected.

" Sure..but, not too high." - he smiled and wiped her face off.

We followed them outside and took a seat on the benches placed all over the lawn. The people around as if knew all quieted down, even the music stopped.

We watched them disappeare and the crowd obviously howled like wolfs.

They were watching down from the sky barely visible about fifty feet above. Her happy screaming mixed with the crowd cheers echoed probably for miles.

He stepped appeared some distance further and kept running in the air with a very happy girl.

He repeated it a few more times and I enjoyed it, not just the spectical but their faces having so much fun.

He arrived spinning with her she remained in his arms for a few more seconds then gracefully bowed towards the crowd who applauded like it was the greatest performance ever.

Ciren took her time and requested her favourites. Zephyr indulged the other kids as well and then ....Kelso came forward.

He smiled politely and waited. I had to give him a pointed look before he..took him gently and disappeared with him. His screaming made Anna laugh happily. By Ehlite..puppy love is so adorable.

Once returned and let him down.

" ..so? Are you training with your dad? "

" He teaches me everyday. "

They started talking like normal people. Well a man..and a seven year old.

" Good!..Your father is good man. Try and be like him and we shouldn't have problem moving forward."

" What? "

" Alright now!!..how nice. " - I arrived in time before he agreed to a bride price." Zephyr .. the other children are waiting.. "

He took one more haughty look at the child completely lost and went satisfying those still shouting for their turn.

I walked back to the girls and Demelza brought over a large pitcher of whiskey.

" Let's start celebrating in earnest!! " - she smiled with anticipation and looked for someone near a certain blessed howling at Zephyr in the skies.

"Seline!.. come join us! "

Surrounded by the culprits from last time we had some and my mother I let her pour a full glass.

Then I remembered..

" We have no more momba left..I'm going to make tea.."

Mother pushed me down. " Sit down sweetheart..how bad it could possibly be on it's own? "

" I was thinking the same aunt Seline..I like the taste."

Miri might be Eleanor age but, sure could handle her drink.

" Alright..but hand me that juice Setil. I need it in case..you know. " - I pointed at another table behind her.

Soon all they all had a cup filled with something..precautions are needed . The smell assaulted the noise.

I waited for mother who tried it first to experience it.

She took a small suspicious sip and swirled it around. Then another bigger one which went down with out a swirl.

" I like it! It does burn more than wine. I wonder how it tastes with other things."

She looked around and brought various drinks I smiled when remembering doing the same. But for different reasons.

We all got pretty good and loaded.

The music and cheers of others, the dancing..the cheers and clapping it was the largest celebration the village ever had.

I had the princess in my lap and we watched the others make idiots of themselves.

Demelza started singing and it was that point Alexander went to find Zephyr with some excuse.

She was horrendous but, what's even worst?

Full of enthusiasm. Others equally bad joined in from our surroundings. It was a popular song about the women who lived on the mountain to build the Pen. Everyone knew it from heart.

Anna and Ciren danced on the tables running around and entertaining the people.

I left them alone and went to found Zephyr.

He was surrounded by idiots like usual. Except this time Carlos was there. It made the picture better, he smiled more genuinely.

Having adoring fans and actually close friends are different things.

I didn't want to interrupt and turned around but, the wind lifted my dress, I felt his arms around me..who else could be?

" How dare you just leave without a word for your future husband? "

" He looked happy?..so I didn't wanna intrude."

He guided my head so he could kiss me. The boys behind us celebrated with loud cheers.

" Wanna fly? "

" Umm..like in bed or..? "

He smiled and picked me up and spun us around.

" Em?...some divine rain if you would."

He quickly got up and lifted his hands .

" Deep breath."

Seeing the clouds so close I can touch them will never not be incredible.

The vastness of it all. His smile before we started falling.. I had only excitement. Hell I felt safe as on the ground just colder.

I almost forget about the rain. He kissed me..upside down and rained on. It was our most romantic kiss yet.

He waited until we were upright and were considerably closer to the ground, one more blurred vision.

I was in his arms landing safely with a loud thud. He wrapped his around my shoulder warming me up, shielding me from the rain and laughing with he others.

The crowd all cheered in the rain and Anna run up to us.
