My Husband Cheated On Me So I'm Marrying My Ex

“I’m sure she wasn’t feeling sorry when she’s all up on my husband last night!” When Alexandra finally married her childhood crush at the age of 25, she didn't expect that she would one day catch another woman in the arms of her husband while she hid in the bedroom closet. But there she was, anger, betrayal, and sadness washed over her all at once as she stared at her husband and the woman who had the same dark brown eyes and dark hair as her. They looked almost identical...? That same night, she stumbled onto the beach and before she knew it, she was sitting across the table from her high school ex, Caleb, looking down at the terms of their marriage contract that he drafted up hastily. Fuelled by anger and betrayal by the people she once loved, Alexandra knew she had to take things into her own hands. Together with Caleb, they plot her revenge. ---------------- “Let’s go,” Caleb demanded as he grabbed Alexandra by her wrist without a warning, pulling her away from the chaos and out of the ballroom in a matter of seconds while both Ethan and Hannah watched them leave with a smug smile on their faces. “Why are we the ones leaving?” Alexandra questioned, yanking her wrist out of his grasp as soon as they were out of their sight, just the two of them hidden behind a wall somewhere. Caleb let out a deep breath. “I have my reasons, Al. Trust me.” “Well, they can’t just -” “Hey, hey listen.” He was now looking down at her with both hands on her shoulders as she had her back pushed up against the wall, their faces only a few inches apart. “What?” A smirk etched itself onto his face. “I promise they will regret everything they had said earlier.” “How so?” “You’ll find out soon.”

Chapter 71: Come home with me

"Alexandra? I can't believe it is really you. I have been looking for you."

Her eyes shot wide open and her hand instinctively flew to cover her mouth, muffling the soft gasp of surprise that escaped her lips. She took one step back, disbelief written all over her face and emotions running wild in her dark brown eyes. She gently pinched herself on her arm, thinking this was just a dream, but when she opened her eyes again, she still found herself staring at the same face.

It was Caleb who was standing before her eyes.

Her eyes were still darting around as she observed his features carefully, seeing the sweat slowly trickling down the side of his head and the sweat stain that was desperately obvious against his plain white shirt. His chest was slowly rising up and down in a rhythmic manner as he tried to catch his breath.

"How... How did you find me?" She asked, stammering as she struggled to get the words out of her throat.
