My Husband Cheated On Me So I'm Marrying My Ex

“I’m sure she wasn’t feeling sorry when she’s all up on my husband last night!” When Alexandra finally married her childhood crush at the age of 25, she didn't expect that she would one day catch another woman in the arms of her husband while she hid in the bedroom closet. But there she was, anger, betrayal, and sadness washed over her all at once as she stared at her husband and the woman who had the same dark brown eyes and dark hair as her. They looked almost identical...? That same night, she stumbled onto the beach and before she knew it, she was sitting across the table from her high school ex, Caleb, looking down at the terms of their marriage contract that he drafted up hastily. Fuelled by anger and betrayal by the people she once loved, Alexandra knew she had to take things into her own hands. Together with Caleb, they plot her revenge. ---------------- “Let’s go,” Caleb demanded as he grabbed Alexandra by her wrist without a warning, pulling her away from the chaos and out of the ballroom in a matter of seconds while both Ethan and Hannah watched them leave with a smug smile on their faces. “Why are we the ones leaving?” Alexandra questioned, yanking her wrist out of his grasp as soon as they were out of their sight, just the two of them hidden behind a wall somewhere. Caleb let out a deep breath. “I have my reasons, Al. Trust me.” “Well, they can’t just -” “Hey, hey listen.” He was now looking down at her with both hands on her shoulders as she had her back pushed up against the wall, their faces only a few inches apart. “What?” A smirk etched itself onto his face. “I promise they will regret everything they had said earlier.” “How so?” “You’ll find out soon.”

Chapter 43: Forgiveness

Her parents stayed true to their words.

They did come back for her, another 2 more times to be exact. The first time insisting that she should apologise to her sister for all the hurt she caused. And the second time, coming back to scream at her for being selfish and unreasonable.

And that was today.

Her mother first came barging into the room through the doors as her father trailed behind. The sudden bang of the door hitting against the wall startled her, destroying the peace and quiet that once cocooned the single ward.

"Are you really not going to do it? Your sister is crying her eyes out every day, do you not care at all?"

"No," she responded curtly, not even looking up from the book in her hands to spare them a glance.

"And stop calling that piece of trash my sister," she added, earning a scoff from her mother who rolled her eyes dramatically too.
