The Escape

I pulled away from the kiss and rubbed Scarlets face with the back of my hand passionately.

"Go upstairs and pack all of your stuff, I'll meet you up there in a minute." I told her.

"Where are we going?"

"I rather not say just in case they followed us here." Scarlet nodded her head and went upstairs. I grabbed a bag and placed all the dry foods and snacks in it along with some drinks. Then I went upstairs to pack my clothes and toiletries. Once we were both done packing I took all four bags and put them on my back. I picked Scarlet up so her legs were wrapped around my hips and I ran out of the door. Using my vampric speed I left the house far behind us. I didn't look back to see if anyone was following me. I knew by now I lost them. We came to stop at the airport. I let Scarlet down and we both walked in.

"Did you already buy a ticket?"

"No, I have my own jet." I said as Scarlet looked at me weirdly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" "your not a Prince of all vampires are you?" She asked. I laughed until I looked up at her again. I stopped laughing because she looked so serious.

"Why would you ask me that?"

"Back at your house a guy called you Mr. Hunter."

"That's just how they talk."

"You still didn't answer my question."

"I am, but my older brother will be king. So it doesn't matter." I said. I never wanted to be a Prince so I didn't care much about my roll there. And no one seemed to care if I was missing for days.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Why didn't you tell me you were a Princess?" I watched as Scarlet opened and then close her mouth a few times before finally answering my question.

"I didn't want to risk anyone knowing. I don't want to go back so soon even if my life is in constant danger." We made it to my jet. I let Scarlet go in first and then I walked in. I started to walk towards the front of the jet, but then Scarlet stopped me in my tracks.

"Where are you going? We have to sit down."

"I'm driving, you can come sit up front with me, but don't touch anything." I said while smiling at her.

"You know how to drive a jet?!" She said in shock. I laughed at her face expression, she is so adorable some times.

"Yea I know how to drive."

"Why didn't you just hire someone to drive us?" Scarlet asked as we both sat down in the front of the jet. I made Scarlet put on her seatbelt as I did the same. I started the jet up and then I took off soon after.

"Because I didn't want to risk anyone finding out where we were going."

"Oh yea that makes sense. So where are we going?"

"I rather wait till we get there before I tell you. Why don't you just sit back and rest. This is going to be a long ride." I said while smiling and thats exactly what she did. She knocked out a little while after.

Five hours later we landed in the United States, Boston. Scarlet stirred as she woke up.

"Where are we?"

"We are in Boston."

"We are in the United States?!"

"Yep." I say with a big grin on my face.

"Oh my God. We are so far away from England."

"That is exactly why we are here. Come on let's go find a place to stay at."

Two hours later I end up buying a small white house with two bedrooms upstairs. A big spacious kitchen downstairs with a dinning table inside and right outside of the kitchen is the living room. We also have a basement that leads us underground.

That was the main reason why I bought this house. Just in case we have to run again we could escape from the basement. Scarlet and I unpacked and once we were done we ate dinner and cuddled together on the couch while watching the first movie of transformers. This movie never gets old to me. In my opinion the first movie is the best one out of all of them. I do like the twin bots in the second movie though.

"This house is better than the cabin we stayed in in England." Scarlet whispered out. I just smiled and kissed her on her forehead.

"I know it is. America is a lot different looking than England is."

"It really is. I was amazed at everything I saw today." Scarlet said with a smile then her face became sad.

"Whats wrong?" I asked.

"Do you think we could ever go back?" I thought about this for a minute before answering.

"Honestly I don't know. Do not ever want to go back to become the Princess?"

"Not if I have to marry that conceited asshole." She said looking very angry. I just laughed.

"Whats so funny?"

"Your just so cute when you get all mad."

"You really are though." She buffs and puffs and tackles me on to the couch. She is now sitting on top of me. She placed both my hands over my head and traps me there. I stopped laughing and looked scared.

"Not laughing now are you?" Scarlet says to me while she looked pissed. She still looked cute though.

"Scarlet, your kingdom may be different from mine. Your rules over there may be different from my kind. But where I come from no women bites a dominants man neck. Its a sign of disrespect. The males who are a Prince is the only one who bites a females neck. Usually when a girl bites a vampire Prince's neck, the Prince will bite back and mark them for eternity; but you have to be destined for each other, if not the bond will die and it will be painful. Since you are a human, and you did not know, I will not bite you, but the next time you bite my neck, I won't hold back like I'm doing right now." I explained to her while I watched her expression go from being mad to being scared.

"What do you mean by destined?" Shit I forgot she didn't know anything. I sighed before telling her.

"I mean soulmates. Two people who are meant to be together."

"How would anyone know who their soulmate is though?"

"They will both feel a pull towards one another and when they touch, they will each feel sparks flying between their fingers." I watched as she became confused, then her eyes widened, coming to the conclusion finally.

"w-we are...w-we...oh my God." I stayed quiet to give her time to process this information and what it meant for the both of us.

"We are soulmates?" She whispered more as a question than a statement.

"Yes."

"You knew all this time didn't you?"

"Not exactly. I had an inkling when I first saw you in the woods, but I didn't know for sure until my body came in contact with yours. When I felt the first sparks." She stayed quiet for a minute before she started hyperventilating. I placed her on my lap as I sat back down on the couch. I grabbed her face with both of my hands and turned her head towards me.

"Scarlet look at me." She ignored me and continued to hyperventilate. Not knowing how to calm her down, I did the only thing I could do. I kissed her. At first gently until she actually calmed down. Then I deepened it a little and she kissed me back. I pulled her back gently before we could go any further.

"What happened?" I asked her with concern in my eyes.

"My family will never accept you." She said in whispered while looking away from me. I pulled her chin up until she looked at me again.

"Do you accept me?"

"Yes, God yes, Of course I do."

"Then that's all that matters. Everything else will fall in place as long as we have each other." I told her. She crashed her lips onto mine and wrapped her arms around my neck. I laid my head back on the couch and she placed both her legs on either side of my hips. I put one hand on her back while I put the other one behind her head. I gently pushed her head forward to deepen the kiss.

"If you turn, you will have to feed off of people for all the days that you live."

"I don't want to rush you, and I don't want you making those kind of decisions when you can't think straight. I'm going to take a cold shower and then I'm going to bed." I said not giving her anytime to respond back. I walked away and went into my room. I quickly turned on the shower and got in. Ice cold water instantly hit my body.
