Chapter 9

Izuku starts looting the bodies after introducing himself. "Great, more caps!" He turns around. "What is your cause? What do you plan on doing here?" Izuku asks, wanting more information. "Well, the BoS wants to destroy the Institute. We also want to eradicate the ghouls and super mutants, or the vermin of the earth." He grimaced as he said those words. "I'm all in. I saved some people that also wanted to destroy them, but they didn't have enough people." He laughs. "Well, we have an army, while the Institute has multiple armies combined. It will be a war, and a bloody one." Izuku smirks. "Not with me." Nejire runs up. "Sir, we can't get a signal to the Prydwen, we need a radio transmitter to boost the range." Izuku creates a creation quirk and makes one. "There." He looks towards Tenya, who looks like he saw a ghost. "Yo-you have two quirks?" Izuku looks serious. "My quirk is called quirk creation. I can make any quirk, from different universes." Izuku laughs him off, like he doesn't care. "Well, a vertibird should come and pick us up when the Prydwen gets here. It could be a couple days till it gets here, so relax before it shows up." Nejire reminds Izuku. "Of course. What now?" He asks the group. "Well, I'm granting you the rank of scribe, since I can't rank you anything higher then that." Izuku thanks him and walks inside the station. "Thanks to you, we don't have to leave this place. You can take a nap over by the sleeping bags." Izuku thanks Tenya and inspects the bag. He looks at everything about and says: "This thing could give someone a disease. I'd rather make my own bed, and probably some beds for you all. I'll clear some rubble so we can get our own rooms." He leaves and starts to clear rubble in a office, working up a sweat. He clears three rooms and is working on a fourth when he hears a vertibird engines and he hears it land. "I thought it would come in a couple days?" He asks Nejire. "Well, they could have came faster since the signal got to them faster, you made a really good one. Thanks." She thanks him and blushes. "Oh, no problem." They head to the roof and board the vertibird. "So, the Prydwen is basically a massive ship?" He yells over the roar. "Yeah. It is big on the outside, and you will get your own bed in the ship." He nods. As the vertibird boards the Prydwen, he notices a person on the boardwalk of the ship. "Paladin, thank you for getting that signal back up and running. And the new member of our team. I wanted to thank you for helping us. Even though I can't give you a rank, I'm sure the Elder will give you either Paladin or Sentinel. My apologies. My name is Captain Kells, the captain of this vessel. I welcome you to the Brotherhood of Steel." Izuku thanks Kells and walks towards the bridge. He enters the ship and notices a ladder going up. He climbs the ladder and notices a meeting going on. A person wearing what looks like a robe with armour under it and strutting back and forth, talking. (a/n: I didn't pay any attention to his rant, so I will skip it.) After his rant, everyone yells out "Ad Victorium!" They leave and the robed person walks up to him. "Thank you for helping Paladin Tenya," He thanks him, "I am Elder Maxson, the leader of the BoS. I am granting you the rank of Paladin. Although I would normally grant you Knight, what you did was amazing. Finding a transmitter of that level is a feat of itself." They shake hands. "I am Izuku. No last name. I don't want to talk about it now." Elder Maxson nods. "How old are you?" He asks Izuku. "I am 264 years old." Maxson draws his rifle, a massive laser gun. "A synth?" Izuku shakes his head. "I was a vault dweller, before the bombs dropped. The Institute killed my mother, and I want revenge."
