My Hero Academia: Psyche

When a drunken woman ends up in the most prestigious college hero course in all of Japan, Katsuki thought the rodent of a principal had finally gone crazy. With zero understanding of her behavior, her quirk, or even her real name, Katsuki dives into figuring the wannabe out, even if it damn near kills him. The more he uncovers though, the more apparent it becomes that in a world filled with devastating quirks, no one is immune to the consequences. Not even him. ~on hiatus until I catch up writing~ Artwork by: Secxen Background: google artwork, please comment for credit or removal

"It's like all over the internet! Surprised you don't know, Olivia. Your dad was even mentioned-" Kaminari stopped in surprise when Star leaned over to touch his arm, listening to something the class couldn't hear. Sending her a wink that she scowled at, he continued. "Stain's a pretty evil villain, but like, super tenacious. He's almost kinda cool, dontcha guys think?"

The air grew colder as Shoto's eyes narrowed. Midoriya gulped, stammering as he glanced at Iida. "K-kaminari!"

"Uh-" Kaminari seemed to realize, and winced. "Oh! Dude!"

"No, it's okay, you are fine." Iida smiled.

Momo recognized that smile. It was the same one she had been trained to use during dinner parties at the manor. The same expression that was on Star's face before she started taking a long sip from her straw after touching Kaminari. The same smile Momo was currently wearing. It was the smile you put on for the cameras when you were not in the right state of mind to give them a real one.

"I understand how people could think he's cool. But he chose killing as a result of his beliefs. No matter what he thinks, that part is definitely wrong. In order to keep anyone else from suffering like my brother and our fellow classmates, we must work harder to overcome such villains, together!" It was small, but a genuine smile replaced the expression on Iida's face. Momo was relieved, internally agreeing with Midoriya's cheer for his friend.

The class was interrupted as their tired teacher walked in, with an equally tired student trailing behind him. With a start, Momo recognized him as the General Education student she had seen in the common room a few times before school started. The one that Mashirao and Star were close to. Instinctively, she glanced to the two in order to gauge their reactions. Star had fallen out of her seat in surprise, and Mashirao was holding her drink that he had caught in his hand, his tail preventing her from hitting the ground. It appeared they were as surprised as the rest of the class at this development. The internships may have been good for their progress as heroes, but it seemed that it had left many things unsaid between more people than just between her and Shoto.

Aizawa gave a stern glare until the hushed whispers that had broken out among the students quieted. "Good morning class. I hope each and every one of your internships were productive and insightful."

He gave each of them a look as he said this, lingering on a few students.

"This will be your new classmate. Most of you already know him, so I'm not going to waste time with introductions." Aizawa yawned, glancing at the young adult standing comfortably next to him. "Normally, he would transfer in his second year. However, as you're all aware, he was a finalist in the Sports Festival and there is an uneven number of students in this class already. The school has decided now would be an ideal time to switch him in, allowing him to use this week before finals as an opportunity to catch up in studies. I will personally be continuing to train him in the areas outside of such matters."

"Finals?!" The class chimed in horror.

"Oh, right. Shinso, take a seat."

Shinso nodded to a smiling Kirishima and Ashido as he passed, and as he reached Star and Mashirao, he sent a subtle wink before sitting in the seat behind them.

"There's only one week left until your final exams begin. I'm sure you're all studying constantly, right?" Sending each of them a stern look, his gaze landed on Shinso as he continued. "Don't forget to keep training. The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about. Good luck."

As he dismissed the class for lunch, Kaminari and Ashido immediately let out cries of despair, causing Momo to pause in gathering her things. "I've barely even taken any notes this semester!"

Kaminari continued, "With the Sports Festival and internship I didn't have time to read the textbook!"

"It's true that we haven't had much free time lately." Tokoyami nodded solemnly, arms crossed.

Sato turned to Koda, who nodded as the large man spoke. "We'd barely learned anything when we took our midterms, so they didn't seem all that hard, but I'm kinda worried about these. We've been through a lot, so they probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us."

Biting her lip, Momo glanced at Shoto, who was packing up and not looking her way, before speaking up. "Do not stress too much about it! I can catch you up to speed on the important topics, if you want?"

Kaminari and Ashido immediately ran over to her, gushing. "You're the best, Yao-momo!"

Midoriya nodded, clenching his fist in determination. "We've still got time to study! That way we'll all get to go to the training camp together, and Shinso can catch up too, right?"

"Yes! As class rep, I have high hopes that we will make UA proud!" Iida said confidently, his smile now fully recovered at the thought of their studies.

Momo nodded, her excitement rising as the conversation continued. "And Shoto can help with the physical exam while I focus on the written portion!"

Shoto looked over to them at that, titling his head in confusion. "It's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class, isn't it?"

Heartbroken, Kaminari clung to Shoto, who looked alarmed at the contact. "Why you gotta cut me down like that…?"

Mashirao spoke up, turning away from the small group consisting of him and Star that had formed around Shinso's desk. "Could Shinso, Star, and I join as well? You're a great tutor!"

"Yes!" Momo cried happily, her eyes glistening with joyful tears. "This is wonderful! We will do it!"

As Jiro and Sero also spoke up, Momo could not contain her excitement anymore, jumping out of her chair. "Okay then, we can hold the study session in the dorms over the weekend!"

Momo started planning excitedly. It would be perfect in the living room, she will have to set up beforehand. And tea! Right, tea! Does everyone have a certain type they like? Her family always drinks Harrod or Wedgwood and she had brought it with her to the dorms, but any other type she would have to send someone to the shops to pick it up while she set up the timetables-

A hand landed on her shoulder, and she looked over to see Star looking at her with an eyebrow raised, probably listening to her thoughts. "Jiro and I can come early to help set up. I'm sure Todoroki as well, right Slushie?"

Shoto did not look at anyone but Momo when he nodded, and a small smile tugged on her lips as she turned away. "When we are finished, you will all be model students! I will make it my personal duty to push you forward!"

There may be some things that are not in Momo's control at the moment, yes. But helping her fellow classmates was something she could, and would, succeed in. Her worries about her and Shoto would just have to be put aside for now. Afterall, they were training to become Pros one day, and acing their exams was the next step in that journey.

-Uh oh, yesterdays chapter was not supposed to post yeeeet~ The next two chapters were suposed to come first! Oh well

-I am reaaallyyyy getting to the wire with my work! I posted this on here originally as practice and motivation to write. Even though this is an app/site that perfers daily updates, I honestly did not think this story would get any attention since it was a fanfiction. Now that I've started working again and have school soon, the updates might get a little more inconsistant, but I'm really going to try for you guys! I might add Star's POV of day one back in as an update until I get more material~ Thank you for your support and for being patient with me <3 love you all~!
