The Calvary Battle 2

Hitoshi Shinso analyzed everything around him carefully as the event raged on. He had a teammate's fate in his hands, and he wasn't taking any chances.

"Momo is preparing something! We need to be careful!" Mashirao called out, keeping an eye on his old friend and her creations. "They have a insulation sheet and a pole-"

"Jump now!" Hitoshi commanded, putting the pieces together quickly. Mashirao noded and slammed his tail on the ground, jumping just in time, as electricity flooded the area. "Aoyama, point your laser down and keep us in the air a little longer!"

Aoyama mindlessly obeyed, and Hitoshi was taken aback by the strength of the laser that shot out of the guy's stomach. They were shot even higher in the air, and as Hitoshi predicted, ice crackled along the ground's surface as well.

"WOW! HE STOPPED ALL THE TEAMS COLD IN THEIR TRACKS! BUT WAIT! IS THAT TEAM SHINSO IN THE AIR?!"

Hitoshi smirked, perfect. "Aoyama... it's your moment to shine. Do your thing."

Aoyama struck a ~pose~ and his blank eyes found the camera recording him with unnatural precision. As his beam shot them up, the crowd 'ooooooo'ed in awe at the beauty of it.

"LOOKS LIKE AOYAMA FROM TEAM SHINSO FOUND HIS TIME TO SHINE FOLKS, THANKS TO THE HELP OF THE TEAM'S RIDER!"

"Nice job you two. Now we can land and take the rest of the headbands from the frozen teams." Hitoshi drawled with a half smile.

Mashirao's tail took the impact as they landed, and one by one they took the remaining headbands left behind from the frozen teams still recovering from the shock.

"Thank goodness, I wasn't looking forward to being frozen again. Not after our first hero training." Mashirao laughed, relieved they weren't in the same state as the frozen teams around them.

"That was a good call, Shinso." Shoda commented from the front.

"Now we just have to defend!" Mashirao agreed, "That's where Shoda and Hitoshi come in!"

"Right!"

"Got it, All-Star."

Another team approached, and Shoda spoke up. "That's Class 1-B, the girl has vine hair, the one on top is like your hardening guy, the one on the side can fuse, and the one in front can soften anything!"

"Mashirao, keep an eye on the ground and be prepared to jump. Aoyama, knock them back if they come close! Shoda, keep the vines from coming near us! We just have to hold out until I can get them talking!" Hitoshi directed as the team approached them.

When they came within range, a wine whipped out towards them before it was punched away by Shoda, and a second later, was shot back at an incredible speed without him moving a muscle.

"Well well well, if it isn't the hero class that everyone ignores."

"HEY MAN WE'RE JUST AS GOOD!"

"YEAH-"

Hitoshi smirked as the two went blank. That took out the rider and the softener. "Mashirao, get us closer! We're coming for you now, Class 1-B!" Hitoshi shouted, and Mashirao complied.

"I don't think so-"

Bingo, there went the girl. One more. As they came within reach, he went to grab the headbands, saying "I'll be taking these."

"ONE MINUTE!" Present Mic boomed.

The last guy, unaware of his teammates fates, shouted, "No you won't-"

And… that's a wrap. Hitoshi ignored the headache and pushed through, grabbing all the headbands around the leader's head, adding them to his large collection. "You guys can continue to fight, just stay clear of us." The enemy team moved towards another team, and he breathed in relief. That put them in at least 4th place. They were done.

"TIME'S UP!"

Hitoshi let himself fall to the ground in relief, feeling Aizawa's quirk wash over him and release the students.

Mashirao knelt next to him, grinning. "We did it, Hitoshi."

Hitoshi nodded, relieved. "So we did, All-Star."

Aoyama woke up, sparkling~ "Did we do it? Did we? Did we shiiiiine~?"

"Yeah buddy, we shined." Shoda answered, patting Aoyama on the back.

"Merci, my friends!" He sparkled, eyes tearing up with happiness.

"IN FIRST PLACE, TEAM TODOROKI!"

"IN SECOND PLACE, TEAM BAKUGO!"

"IN THIRD PLACE, TEAM SHINSO!"

"IN FOURTH PLACE, TEAM MIDORIYA!"

Mashirao sent Hitoshi a look, and Hitoshi understood and turned to the others. "Thanks for joining the team, we'll see you in the next round. We have to go find our friend."

"Good luck in the next round guys!" Mashirao added, helping Hitoshi up.

"Au revoir!"

"Good luck!!"

Hitoshi looked at Mashirao and internally smiled.

Having a teammate felt good.
