It's been a week since the "Incident".
Nezu contacted Izuku a few times. They talked about his recommendation letter and stuff. After a bit of negotiation, they have reached an agreement.
Izuku will get through by the recommendation, but he will also attend all other tests so that he would prove himself more. If he managed to get a bad score on the exams, he would still get in through the recommendation.
From the information he received, the date for recommended students is one day earlier than the actual test for normal participants.
'I will definitely attend that, it's just... There will be too many heroes watching me fight. I need to get stronger by then. It would be a great way to increase my favorite points with the pro heroes.' Izuku clenched his fists.

Today is the first day of Izuku's junior high school life.
He is in the same class as Kacchan again. He really wonders whether it's fate that always puts them together. Anyway, he was really glad because he still had someone to talk to.
Evidently, people already began forming small groups of friends.
He is envious of those who can socialize well. He never really had anything to talk about, other than heroes and villains.
People could say that his hobby is normal, but It's actually really abnormal. He is a super big fan of heroes.
He has countless figures, posters and clothes of All Might.
Heck, he even has bedsheets of All Might and even his teacup has All Might's face.
'I am a lost cause, aren't I?'
To be completely honest, Izuku hates himself just as other people hate quirkless individuals.
The first thing he hates about himself is his shyness. He was sure that it would be gone with that Gamer's mind passive, but it's still there. Not only that, but that Gamer's mind passive was getting on his nerves. Always sending notifications about his behavior into his head. He really considered turning it off at pne point. Maybe he actually will.
Not only is his shyness not gone, but his loud murmuring and stuttering habits are also still the same as ever. He really isn't sure how that skill works.
Another defect is the fact of how he looks like. He doesn't consider himself bad looking, rather his build was pretty good already.
From the constant quests and training, his strength, intelligence and some other stats raised a lot.
But the thing is, he hate his freckles. It doesn't look good and they don't look intimidating at all.
He plans on being a hero.
Now imagine a hero with freckles. Who would fear that? Even if Izuku kicks their ass, his freckles would still make him look like a baby.
He mentioned this fact to Kacchan and she only shook her head, "You sure have problems. Try thinking of it in a different perspective. It might not scare off the villains, but your freckles and kind smile will be able to kids and other people at ease during an emergency, and I feel like that's really useful and great about you..."
Izuku felt genuinely grateful to her and deep inside, felt his heart move.
Sensing his loving gaze, she fidgeted, "W-Why are you looking at me like that!? I-If you don't like the way you look, try jumping off a building, maybe you will respawn with a nicer face, dumbass."
This gave him a lot of confidence in himself.
His next defect, however, was the fact that he doesn't want to reveal his quirk to anyone.
While his classmates consider him a highly intelligent person because he received the award from the Minister, in their mind, he was still the quirkless invalid.
Although the teachers were reluctant to teach him at first, once he put Nezu on the line, they immediately agreed and didn't make any more trouble.
'I am quite sad about this society that eliminates quirkless kids like that. I plan on changing the society, the moment I become the greatest hero. I want to be like All Might, but better. Silly isn't it? Changing the society shall be my goal from now on.'
Even he thinks it's impossible, but with his new quirks, he has another chance to prove himself. He will protect everyone!
Now, back to the school.
Izuku was sitting next to Kacchan the whole day. She has been really distracted lately.
For the past week, he has been calling her out to play in some arcades or just to hang out, but she always said that she wasn't feeling well. He tried going to her house, but auntie Mitsuki just shook her head and said that she wasn't feeling well lately.
He tried calling out to her multiple times today, but she hardly even responded.
'I feel like we went back to those bad times when she ignored me. But I hope that's not the case.'
"Kacchan wanna go to the arcade today?" Izuku asked.
"I don't feel like it, Deku," She replied while looking absentminded.
Izuku sighed and said, "Oh. Okay."
'I hope she is fine.'
His first month in junior high has passed and he didn't make a single friend.
What a great childhood. Calling him socially awkward isn't wrong at all.
After arriving home, his mom wanted all of the details from him.
He could have just basically said that he was isolated, but that would make his mom sad again. Instead, he lied about teachers and his classmates. He also mentioned Katsuro's state to her and she said that it was probably just a puberty thing.
'I hope that this was the case. Even though I like my private space and silent moments, if I lost Kacchan I might even go crazy after being left alone.'
The next day, when he was about to enter the school gates a girl interrupted him.
"Are you by any chance Midoriya Izuku?"
She had a pretty face, with an enchanting ginger hair in a ponytail.
"Yes, I am. What do you need me for?" Izuku asked.
"Ah, I am sorry, but teacher Kusuo wanted to see you. I was told to go and get you so that we could go to him together." she replied in an apologetic voice.
'Teacher Kusuo. Hmm. That's the general arts teacher. What could he want from me?'
"Sure we can go, I don't mind," Izuku replied.
The hyperactive girl grabbed his hand and pulled him, "Go, Go, Go. I still need to get to my class! We don't have much time." the ginger girl energetically announced..
"A-Ah. Yeah.." Izuku shyly replied.
"Oh, you are not comfortable with holding hands? Sorry, my bad."
"No, it's fine. Ehm... I don't believe I caught your name?"
"Oh, it's Itsuka, Itsuka Kendo. Nice to meet you, Izuku."
She smiled sweetly without letting go of his hand.
This girl was too much for him to handle. She didn't even bother with honorifics. Izuku couldn't possibly handle this hyperactive type.
"N-Nice to meet you too."

Meanwhile in the class.
"Is Izuku Midoriya absent today?" the math teacher asked.
"No clue sir."
"I saw Midoriya today, he was with some girl. They went somewhere together, maybe they are skipping class."
"Maybe they went on a date?"
Students told the teacher about their ideas.
Katsuro's body cringed when she heard the word. Unknowingly, she broke the pen she was holding in two.
'Date? Deku dating some random girl? No way in hell that's possible! He is the biggest wimp. There is no way he could ask someone out.'
She looked at his empty seat and contemplated.
'You wouldn't right?'

Special: The Cogs Of Fate
Izuku Midoriya firmly believed in fate, bonding him and Katsuro together, but little did he know...
"Like I sad miss Bakugo. Your daughter is in class 1.B we can't just move her into class 1.A."
"You think I give a fuck about what you can and what you can't? Just do it!"
A heated discussion about Katsuro's enrollment was taking place in the principal's office.
"Do you want me to kill you? I will kill your ass believe it or not!"
Mitsuki didn't want to give up so she threatened the principal.
"Ugh." the principal frowned and thought,
'If she weren't the boss of a local gang I wouldn't believe her... But... She sadly is. My life is in danger. Oh mama, this was a dangerous profession after all!'
Under the pressure, the principal finally agreed.
"Okay... I... I will move her.. Plese, just don't hurt anyone."
"Sure, bye-bye!" she threw a triumphant smile before exiting the office in high spirits.
"Now, It's all you, kid. Mommy helped you enough."
