Tazra shook her head with amusement, still watching the droids attempt to untangle the mess they had made. The tension from recent battles seemed a distant memory as the ship's usual rhythm of chaos and humor settled back in.
"Just admit you messed up, Grek," Thras grumbled, his red eyes glaring at his spindly companion. "You've turned half the lower deck into a disaster zone."
Grek puffed up, looking indignant. "Mess up? I was optimizing the system until you decided to interfere with my wiring!"
"Optimizing or not, it looks like you've just added more work for yourself," Ethan interjected, chuckling softly as he observed the pair. Despite the minor chaos, it was good to see the crew in high spirits again. The battles they faced might be deadly, but moments like this reminded Ethan why he valued this crew so much.
