"What should I do to earn this much money?" screamed the girl named Choi Karin. He was in the hospital to see a doctor who had treated his mother at the time; because of her mother's lung disease, she needed funds for a lung transplant.
Meanwhile, Karin needs to raise two billion dollars as a coffee shop employee. Feeling unable to find a way out, he decided to leave this hospital.
"Oh my God, my savings are only enough to survive for a month," muttered Karin, who had just checked the balance on m-banking. She didn't know what to do since her father died, and Karin had to take care of her mother because it was the only family she had right now.
Karin has no other way out than sacrificing her youth and dreams to earn money, survive and heal her mother. He feels hopeless when he cannot balance the results of his work wages with the current expenses. Once a month, Karin goes to the hospital to pay for her mother's medicine; because she doesn't want to stay in the hospital and think about the cost, she prefers to stay at home, while the treatment for her mother is also quite expensive.
Incidentally, the bus he would o ride was directly in front of him when Karin had just arrived at the bus stop. Without thinking, Karin immediately got on the bus while scanning her T-Money card before looking for a comfortable seat.
He lived in an apartment not far from the hospital; it only took him about fifteen minutes to get to the bus stop near his apartment. However, Karin wanted to buy some groceries to cook when she arrived at her apartment. He thought that his mother must not have eaten dinner because she only gave him lunch and afternoon when she left. With long strides, Karin headed for the nearest supermarket. He took fresh meat, vegetables, and complimentary foodstuffs for the next meal.
After he finished shopping, he got out of there and walked down the alley towards the apartment. The streets were tranquil, and there was only the dim light of the lamps and the moon's natural light in the sky.
"Tell me who ordered you, will you?!"
Karin's steps stopped when she heard the hoarse and heavy voice.
"You're still not going to say it? Oh, well, it would be nice if I had a subordinate like you. You would be willing to die to protect your master. Be prepared."
Karin immediately turned to the side; her heart was beating abnormally; she felt her hands begin to tremble at the criminal activity in front of her eyes course; she was afraid. But did not have much energy to run from there immediately. He was just silent, watching what the formally dressed man was doing with his back to him while bowing slightly.
Behind his desk, this man was not just an ordinary person who had a pretty face. He is the CEO of the Kim Group company. South Korean successful entrepreneur with a young age, twenty-seven years. But to his surprise, he has never been involved in a dating scandal with any woman.
"You don't want to have fun?"
Kim Seojun's flat face looked at his cousin, who had just entered the study without knocking on the door. It was the habit of Kim Jimon entering trying, but if Jimon said something loudly when he entered his room, the owner of this room immediately glared at him. The atmosphere turned sinister with a single eagle-like gaze piercing Jimon.
Jimon never felt scared or threatened; only he could grin before sitting on the sofa casually ignoring Seojun. Then keep on talking. "You have to experience playing with a bitch again once in a while if you still don't want to be in a serious relationship. Don't keep working all the time, Seojun, your brain, your desires, and your mind also need to be satisfied!" said Jimon, fiddling with his cell phone.
"Get out of my study, Mr. Jimon!" said Seojun with a firm and sharp gaze.
"I do not want!" Jimon shook his head hard, and he pouted his lips cutely. Seojun wanted to take the gun in his locker and shoot it directly at his cousin's head because he was angry.
"Seriously, this time, something's threatening you. I didn't come to tell you to play with a bitch."
Seojun rolled his eyes lazily, and he tidied up all his files before grabbing a black coat on his work chair. "But I don't want to be serious with you," Seojun replied flatly.
Jimon looked embarrassed, and he knew Seojun was a great person because whenever someone wanted to hurt him, he had the strength to fight back and a reliable bodyguard that he always carried with him everywhere. When Jimon accidentally saw a gun in Seojun's black pants, he could only swallow his saliva. "Where are you going, eh?" asked Jimon, who held Seojun's arm while looking at him like a father who wants to forbid his son to go.
"Go home." Seojun immediately jerked Jimon's hand and gave a faint smirk before leaving the room and leaving Jimon alone.
"Aish! Gosh, I can't tell children. I have to call Jungho so he can be more careful." Jimon was on his hips while walking out; he called Jungho, Seojun's assistant.
***
Jungho, who was driving, also listened to Jimon's chatter through the AirPods he was wearing but could only nod as he answered. "Yes, I understand, sir."
"Jungho, who called you while you were driving for me?" Automatically hearing the voice that interrupted Jungho, he immediately hung up the phone with Jimon. Then put his Airpods on the dashboard.
"Sorry, sir," Jungho said with a smirk because he didn't want to cause trouble with Seojun, so he decided to focus on driving again.
The atmosphere was quiet again, the trip to Seojun's house was not too far away, but Seojun's tablet suddenly rang. Seojun picked up a video call from Jimon after the man tired. Jimon's face filled his tab screen.
"What's wrong with you?!" Seojun snapped.
"You didn't scold Jungho, did you? Why did he suddenly hang up on me?"
"Haish! Don't bother Jungho, and he's driving for me. Do you want me to have an accident?"
"Then I'll just hang up, okay?"
"Yes."
"You're all right, right?"
"Yes."
"Well, be careful on the road."
"When are you going to close it?" snapped Seojun, who was getting annoyed because he heard Jimon keep on babbling, and it was a waste of his time.
"I'm closing now."
Jungho, who glanced through the reflection of the glass above him could only smile faintly. He knows a lot about Seojun and Jimon because he has worked with them for a long time, so he knows each other's characters and traits very well.
From earlier, there was something strange. Jungho kept paying attention to his car's rearview mirror, even though he had to divide his focus between hearingJimon worries or Seojun's scolding; Jungho could also see that a car was following.
"Master... looks like a car has been following us for a long time."
"Again?" Seojun was even always embarrassed to hear those words from Jungho, not because he was annoyed with Jungho, but his enemy's henchmen were always trying to harm Seojun. No wonder Jimon always noticed and warned him.
Jungho nodded confidently; he immediately took his cellphone and called a few reliable bodyguards before Seojun told him to stop at the side of the road.
"Make sure everything is safe." Seojun shook off his coat after he got out of the car, deliberately always waiting for them and walking in a quiet area to finish him off.
Seojun leaned against the wall while crossing his legs to await the arrival of his enemy here. A few seconds later, two prominent people came up to him. They wear masks and all-black clothes that seem to cover their identities.
Seojun's crooked smile, piercing gaze broke everything as he moved to attack them. Two against one, with their sizeable bodies, but Jungho wasn't so stupid as to let his master face off alone. Several bodyguards he contacted immediately came to help Seojun.
Bug!
Bug!
A heavy boom hit his jaw, causing one of the mysterious people to fall to the ground, kissing the asphalt.
"Yeah! Don't run away, you!" Jungho raised his hand and pointed at the person who had fled before he finished.
"Leave it alone," said Seojun, who immediately stood in front of Jungho and stepped on the stomach of the person who was under him with one foot. At the same time, the two bodyguards held the person's hand until finally, Seojun took off his mask.
"Tell me who ordered you, huh?!" Seojun said while pressing even harder until he heard the sound of his moaning.
Instead of answering, the person turned his gaze in another direction and allowed Seojun to make it difficult for him to move without allowing this person to escape.
Seojun smiled stupidly; he bowed while saying something else. "You still won't say it? Oh, well, it would be nice if I had a subordinate like you. You would be willing to die to protect your master. Be prepared." Then, Seojun straightened up while reaching into his pants pocket with one hand before pointing a gun that he always carried with him to end someone's life in this way.
Three
Seojun's right hand was ready to aim the gun at the target; in his heart, he was counting down from number three to number one; maybe this person wanted to confess before the trigger hit in front of his head.
Two
"After I die, you will suffer more, Master Seojun!"
'How dare this bastard to say that to me, huh?' Seojun thought, who couldn't hold back his patience to make this person go away for life.
One
DORR!
Seojun smiled with satisfaction after seeing the bullet hit the target and made fresh blood gush from his front head. He looked at Jungho to give the code instructions for the man to do next and didn't want to stay here for long after doing this.
"Remove the corpse and throw it into the sea. After that, delete all CCTV footage connected to this road. Make sure no one sees my actions-" Before Seojun finished speaking, he already heard a strange voice from behind him.
A grocery bag fell with a girl who had passed out.
"Damn it! Who is that girl? Has she seen us here long?!"
