'Shit,' Shin thought, freezing on the spot.
What should he do? Run and hide? This was the most sensible option, even if Inaho's gang could get spooked as a result and abandon this hideout, forcing Shin to search for them again.
"There's someone uninvited in our hideout. Spread out and search for them!" Inaho shouted on the other side of the door. "I can smell them!"
Shin took in a breath and straightened his posture.
'Boss?' Tetsu asked. 'Should we merge to run faster? Or do you have another plan? Whatever it is, I will follow, don't you doubt it!'
'A plan, yes…'
The door to the lounge flew open, but people that were about to run through it froze in their spots.
Their interloper, Shin, was standing, not hiding at all, and appearing completely unbothered. At the sight of Inaho's gang, he even crossed his arms and gave them a condescending look over his nose.
"Finally. I was wondering if you will notice me at all," Shin said blandly.
