Four hours later, two figures emerged from the sky; they were precisely Lux and Khione, who had just finished their spar.
The result?
It was obviously Lux's victory, evident from his triumphant smile.
"We can do this again later, Khione." The young man showed no shame as he spoke to the girl he had just defeated.
"We'll see about that. I learned a lot about my powers and how to use them, so I'll probably need some days to digest it all."
As Khione spoke, she seemed pretty happy despite the loss; for her, it was more about improvement than victory or defeat in a measly spar.
Lux felt the same. While he might not have learned new things, he gained insight into using his abilities in the future.
'Khione has refined control of her ability; it's just that my own abilities have something superior inside them. I guess that's the only reason why I won, not only in quality but also quantitatively.'
