"Eh, Liuliu's going through a rough time. I don't know if anything will happen to her," the old lady worried.
"I don't know! She should be fine though. Xiaotian is not a reckless man, he knows how to cherish Liuliu. We should just focus on simmering the old hen for her. Everything will be alright," someone responded.
By lunchtime, the chicken soup was ready and waiting for Liuliu.
"Mistress, I think my wound has reopened!" Xiaotian knew he dared not agitate Liuliu further, so he had no choice but to admit his weakness to Liuliu. What else could he do?
"Ah? Let me see!" Annoyed, Liuliu moved Xiaotian aside to inspect his chest.
Xiaotian, seeing that Liuliu was concerned for him, didn't stubbornly cling to her as he did before. He obediently let her take charge.
Upon inspection, Liuliu exclaimed, "Damn! Xiaotian, you've bled quite a bit. The wound surely has reopened. It's even seeping blood!"
