Chapter 6: Hide

The next morning, Nina and the old couple ate breakfast together, Nina feels that the couple seem to be more enthusiastic about her, especially auntie who keeps on putting vegetables on her plate and she even gave her the peeled apples and orange that uncle gave her.

"eat more Nina, you are so thin, do you drink vitamins? Make sure to drink it because body is important, you need to strengthen your body especially you wanted to plant" auntie said while putting a chicken thigh on her plate

Karen is now aware that this cute little girl will be her daughter-in-law in the future, though she can't tell it to Nina now, she needs to form a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship. She can't wait to bring Nina to shop for clothes and dress her up! She can even bring her to the salon and spa! Maybe she needs to write down the things that she would do together with her daughter-in-law!

"Thanks auntie" Nina just awkwardly said

"Nina, do you have a boyfriend?" Karen really can't stop her curiosity, how did her son chase this lovely girl and why did she run away from him?

"Uhm, I just broke up with my boyfriend before going here" Nina truthfully answered

"Y-you broke up with him" Karen forced a smile before trying to act normal, she knew that if his son and Nina broke up, the only reason was her incompetent wooden son! He already has a wonderful girlfriend but his son still acts as a wooden man! How distressing!

"Nina, I hope you don't find this offensive, but why did you break up with him?" Cronos can't also stop himself from asking, what kind of stupidity did his son make? He should train his son how to spoil his girl, but thinking that he still wants to discredit his son for his attitude last night he stopped thinking of giving him the" tips for spoiling your girl" lessons. "If you don't want to answer, it's fine" Cronos added to his question when he saw that Nina paused after hearing the question.

"no it's fine uncle" Nina smiled then she she took a bite of the chicken "he cheated on me so I dumped him" Nina said like she was just talking about the weather

"he cheated on you?!" the old couple simultaneously asked, it looks like they were the ones who were cheated and not her.

"Uhm, yeah?" she answered confusedly

"good thing you left him! That kind of man doesn't deserve you! Hmmp! If I see him, I will make sure that he will kneel on the keyboard! That idiot boy! Such a good daughter-in-law and he still threw her away! If I found out who that boy inherited his infidelity I will make sure to cut his happiness! " Karen said while looking at Cronos' pants, Cronos seemed to see Karen's gaze and like an automatic reaction, he gulped and covered his crotch, damned boy! His son was the one who cheated! Why should he, the father, take the blame?!

" N-Nina, a-are you sure he cheated on you? Maybe you just heard it from other people, you know, a lot of people might be envious of your relationship" Cronos tried to reason out, he is still afraid that his beloved wife would murder him for his son's fault, he needs to lighten his sentence

"hmm, maybe there are people who envied our relationship and tried to deliberately separate us because last week someone sent me an audio clip about my boyfriend's cheating act, but aside from other people I believe more in what I saw" Nina explained while she's drinking her milk

"You saw him?!" Karen now looks so red and mad

"Wife calm down, okay, calm down" Cronos is now panicking, his wife has hypertension, so as much as possible, he tries to make his wife healthy food and let her avoid getting mad but his son is really a pig teammate! How can he cheat and still has the cheek to come and see Nina?! Now even his wife is so stressed because of him! Hmp! Hades wants to see Nina? No way, he'll hide this girl and his wife from him!

"auntie, it's okay, don't be mad. He doesn't deserve it okay?" Nina tried to calm Karen

"Okay, I won't be mad anymore" Karen said trying to relax, her son will really be the death of her! "we will just first go to our room Nina, we will go to my nanny's house in the afternoon,okay?" Karen said, she needs to rest first and think of how she will deal with her son when she sees him!

"It's fine auntie, just message me when we're going" Nina politely said

The couple asked if she's going up too but she declined. She wants to stroll and go back to the place where she saw a lot of seeds. She checked her space this morning and she found out that the soil there seems to be good already so she is planning now to buy some seeds and try it out later.

When Nina walked out of the restaurant, she was greeted by the cold winter wind. In her previous life, she grew up in a tropical country but when her adoptive parents found out that their prospective son-in-law went to another country to study, they also sent her. It was not hard for her to adapt to the school because even though she can't compare to the 180 IQ of the original owner, she was also considered a genius from her previous life with a 130 IQ that's why it wasn't that hard for her to finish the requirements needed for her master's degree. What made her life hard during her college days was the climate, she wasn't used to the winter climate and she often got sick because of that. And according to the previous owner's memory, she also gets easily sick during the winter season. Maybe due to the spiritual spring, her body can now tolerate this cold climate.

While walking, Nina saw a baby onesie displayed in the department store, it was so cute that she immediately decided to buy it, then she went inside the store where she saw a lot of cute baby clothes. Nina put all the cute clothes that she saw on her cart, she also added mittens, bibs, socks and other baby products! She didn't buy for herself because she already bought enough clothes for her last week, when she still doesn't know the existence of her baby. If she only knew it that time, she would have bought that cute tutu unicorn dress she saw!

When she arrived on the counter, she saw a beautiful woman wearing high heeled boots but looking at her clothes, Nina can't help but to shudder, she felt so cold by just looking at it. The woman looks mad so to avoid any trouble, Nina tried to look for another counter but suddenly she stopped because she seemed to hear the woman said a familiar name

"are you sure that aunt Karen is here?! How can they come to this God forsaken area?! There are no bars or even just a place to hang out?" the woman said "But where can I find them?!" she said while flipping her hair "are you sure that when I become close to Karen, I will have a greater chance to be with Hades?"

Nina stopped eavesdropping, there are a lot of Karen in this world, maybe the woman was looking for another Karen and if ever that woman is looking for her auntie Karen, she will not help her, just based on her conversation on the phone Nina can already see that this woman is a scheming woman,she can't let her take advantage of her kind auntie Karen.

Nina paid for the baby clothes she bought but when she went out, she realized that most of the clothes she bought were pink! Isn't the villain in the second book male? Nina hit her head in frustration, anyway, when the villain baby gets out, he can still use the cute clothes that she bought, he won't know it anyway. And when her child grows up, she will send him the pictures of him when he was wearing those cute little skirts!

Anyway, she can't stroll holding these bags so Nina went to a dark corner with no people. Good thing there are only a few cameras around and she easily avoided them. She went inside her space and put all the things she bought inside then she went out.

She now walked towards the seeds store where she bought a lot of seeds for all seasons. She also bought mango, apple, orange, pear, cherry seedlings. Aside from those, she bought 2 of each gardening tool, one for her outside farm and one for her space. Once she was done, she hired a taxi to bring her back to the hotel.

Nina asked the bellboy to help her carry some of the bags she bought in her room. When she checked the time, it was almost 12 noon so she hurriedly put the things she bought on her space.

One more good thing about this space is the time. When she stays for an hour here, it is only 10 minutes outside so if she stayed here for a day it is only 4 hours outside!

Nina started digging a hole for her tree seedlings, she made sure that they are two meters away from each other. After planting the trees, she started planting the vegetable seeds on the plot she prepared last night. She first planted cabbages, carrots, capsicum and broccoli. She doesn't know if this space can grow plants that are out of season, but just in any case, she planted plants according to season, she still needs to be low-key as much as possible. She also planted her favorite strawberries! Nina really hopes that this magical space is like the one she read in the books before, spiritual and fast yielding!

After planting and sorting stuff, Nina went out and took a bath. After she cleaned herself she checked the time and it's already 12:30 she was about to call the old couple but before she could do that, she heard uncle Cronos calling and knocking on her door so she immediately took her purse and went outside her room.

Auntie Karen smiled when she saw her "Sorry we are a little bit late, we just made sure that your ex won't find you again"

"You know my ex?" Nina asked, is this couple a part of the story? She can't seem to remember if their names appeared in the book!

"of course not!" Auntie Karen immediately denied "how will I be related to that good for nothing man, I' m sure his mom is truly ashamed of him, that boy must have inherited that playboy genes from his father, hmp! Both of them are unreliable!" Aunt Karen snorted

Cronos can't wait to see and kick his son, who gave him the right to cheat?! Now, even him who never dared to cheat before received terrible scolding since morning! As a punishment and revenge for his son, he cleared all his, his wife, and Nina's call records , he also cleared any traces of their whereabouts. Let's see how great he is hmp!

"Young master, young master!" Tom rushed towards Hades' office without even asking for permission, this is a great taboo for his young master, but what can Tom do? This is an urgent report, not even the acquisition of the 5 companies that they took just this month can amount to the urgency of his report!

Hades is now busy talking to an investor, although he can invest in his own business he still wants to share the loss to others and when everything is smooth, he is going to acquire the shares of his investors, well, that's how brutal he is. But he didn't ask for these investors, they came to him. He just let them taste a little of his success then he will dump them. Well  not all of them, what he usually does is, he would create a problem for the business then when everything feels uncontrollable, these coward businessmen are going to sell their shares at a low price but some brave businessmen will still hold onto their shares so he will let these people hold their shares. These are the people he needs for his company. He doesn't need fickle people.

"Young master you need to listen to my report" Tom said while catching his breath,now he knows the saying an apple won't go far from its tree, this father and son are born to torture him to death!

Hades looked at Tom and his eyes seemed to tell that if his report is unimportant, he's gonna kill him! Hades then asked the investor to leave first and his secretary will just call him if they approved the plan. When the investor left, Hades sat on his chair and then his posture seems to be that of an interrogator

"Young master, there was a report coming from the headquarters that the master cleared all of their traces from the last three months!" Tom said, then Hades just looked at Tom without talking but his eyes seem to say that's it? You disturbed me for that?

"Young master! Aside from erasing their traces, master also erased the traces of Ms. Nina for the past month! How can we find Ms. Nina again if the master, madam and even Ms. Nina's traces are all gone!" If Tom doesn't know his young master's attitude he would think that this paralyze faced man doesn't care about his report, but being with this person for more than a decade, he saw the sudden sharpness on his young master's eyes together with the continuous tapping on the table, this clearly shows his boss' irritation! 

Hades took out his phone and dialled his father's number but the call was blocked, Good old man, want to play hide and seek? You could have played that together with your wife but why did you bring my wife with it? Huh, just wait I'll show how good of a seeker you are playing with Hades said to himself.
