As for why two beauties were sleeping on his bed, it was somewhat of a long story but the short of it is Rico had accidentally saved them sometime after spending his first four years inside the city and they started following him around.
He thought they did so because they felt that they were in his debt but after spending some time with them, he realized they stayed glued to his side for one reason.
Protection.
Rico was strong as he was able to efficiently fight with C-rank mages one or two stages above him. As for the girls', their magic had barely reached D-rank, they had trouble casting spells let alone using them in a fight.
He imagined they had survived so far by running and hiding and even if someone found them they just ignored them as they were children. Back then, they had barely broken into their teenage years and people were already trying to take advantage of them.
It made Rico sick to his stomach.
