Finals (Part 1)
Standing in the arena, Jayce looked across at his opponent. Rico looked exactly the same as the last time he had seen him with his bronze-colored skin and his short black hair.
The only difference was that he was no longer wearing the green uniform but a light brown leather armor and he didn't have 'his two girls' with him. As Jayce stared at Rico, attempting to size him up, Rico stared back at Jayce, his gaze flickering with recognition.
"Are both contestants ready?" The announcer asked, keeping an eye on the two of them.
He could feel the tension between the two of them and so could the crowd which got their blood pumping.
"I'm ready," Rico said with a sly grin, not taking his eyes off Jayce.
He felt like he had seen him somewhere before but with a mask covering half of his face, it was hard for him to pinpoint where. Jayce nodded in response and after receiving an answer from both participants, the speaker announced the start of the match.
