Eleven

Sam found out about what I was doing which didn't bother me I just listened to what he said and got his help on somethings but it was going along smoothly other than that. "Alex stop scratching yourself" he said and I looked at my hand noticing it was a little red. I moved my other hand away and we kept looking at stuff before I stretched some. "I think I can handle the rest Sam" I said standing up and grabbing my laptop. "If you say so" he said and I walked back upstairs to my room, after a few days I had my room packed up in boxes. "Geez.." I mumbled looking around the room I had since I was a kid. "To think so much time has flown by.." I said then looked at the door to see Sam. "Hi Sam" he came into my room looking around. "You don't have to move yet you know" he said his voice as cold as usual. "I know I just want to" I said thinking about the fact I'd be changing schools since I was moving a few towns away. "Welp I think I should get some of my stuff there and at least get my bed together" I said with a small laugh looking at the few boxes that made up my bed, I kept the old boxes and everything that came with the bed I got just in case I moved rooms or moved houses.

"Let us help" said Hannah walking in grabbing a lighter box. "You don't have too" I said and she shook her head. "You'll be here for hours otherwise" she giggled and I shook my head some. "Whatever.." I said and I let them help me load the moving truck I had rented to move my shit. "Alex" Sam said when I was carrying the last box. "Yes Sam?" I asked and he handed me some car keys I hadn't seen before. "I know you have to drop this truck back off this way so take the bus back here there's something I want to talk to you about" I nodded and he set the keys on the box I was holding, I walked to the truck putting the box in before closing and making sure it was closed tightly. "I'll miss you" I heard and turned to my sister. "It's not that bad" I said hugging her some. She hugged me back and after a few seconds we pulled away, she waved then went back inside. I got in the truck starting it and drove to where my new hours was which didn't take long, I just didn't tell them where it was.

When I got there I unloaded the truck putting the boxes in the garage or in the house carrying the boxes for the bed to the master bedroom which was downstairs. "Wow.. Nevermind this is pretty big" I said looking around, then went back to unloading and started unpacking stuff for the bed before stopping and driving the truck back. I walked most the way home before getting on the bus so it would take me closer then walked the rest of the way. I knocked on the door, Sam opened it and stepped outside so I stepped back. We spoke about my responsibilities now that I was going to be so far and how I still needed to finish my school even though I was changing schools and he wouldn't be there all the time. "Sam I can handle myself I'm not dropping out and I know how to do all of that stuff" I said and he looked at me then opened the garage. I noticed another car in there and I tilted my head. "The white one is yours" he said and I looked at him in shock. "What I won't be able to drive you places" he said and patted my head. "Be careful on your way home I want a text or call when you get home" he said and walked inside. I smiled some and unlocked the car and started it before running inside from the garage and hugging Sam tightly. "Thank you dad.." I said and I could tell I caught him off guard but in a good way.

"Your welcome Alex" he said and rubbed my head. "Now get home or you won't finish building your bed before you get to tired to finish" he said and I moved away nodding. "Okay bye Sam" I said and went into the garage looking at the spare key I had to Sam's house I took it off and left it on the table in there before I got in my car and drove back home.

-Schlatt are you busy?- I sent but got no reply so I took it as a yes. I went back to building my bed listening to music singing poorly in Spanish for fun. I finished it but it was late so I flopped in it and fell asleep so I could wake up as early as my body would let me to finish unpacking. I woke up to my alarm and sat up looking at my phone to see 10 texts and two missed calls from Schlatt, I quickly unlocked my phone and read the text and listened to the voice mails, I felt bad for making him worry.

-hey I'm okay I just fell asleep sorry to make you worry- I sent then watched it say he was typing.

-it's fine I was just worried something happened-

-nah I'm good I got some stuff to do today but I'm probably gonna text or call you later- I sent and watched it say he was typing.

-okay i'll talk to you later love-

I smiled and got out of bed unpacking my clothes and hangers hanging everything up and building some other bedroom furniture to put stuff away then moved to the living room unpacking stuff and building things that needed to build. By 5pm I had finished my room and almost finished the living room but I was gonna stop for now, I grabbed my phone and called Schlatt... He didn't answer I just brushed it off since he was dealing with crazy.
