Chapter 6

Eos P.O.V.:

Now it is time for Leon vs Ray.

"Start"

Without letting Ray use his ability, Leon runs straight towards Ray. Dodging quickly, his eyes now a light shade of green.

"Ugh there you go using your mind thingy ability again"

Instead of saying something back, Ray simply pretends to ignore his 'brother' and focus more on the fight. Leon transforms, attacking Ray with his sharp claws. Although knowing where he will strike, Ray is no match for the non-stop attacks of Leon. In the end. Ray ends up taking slight bit of the damage, therefore forced to step back. Both the parties now back off waiting for the other to charge first. Once again Leon is the first to attack.

His claws, at their full extension ready to attack once again. Leon's speed increases, he pounces over Ray, tackling them both to the ground.

"Hmph idiot" Ray wispers. Flipping them both, Ray gets on top of Leon, putting both of his feet on Leon's claws, locking them both at their place. Further he proceeds to punch him in the face, his gloves with metal knuckles doing a lot more damage than a normal punch. With a lot of strength, Leon frees his hands and attempts to scratch Ray's face. Already anticipated that, Ray smoothly avoids it, but fails to dodge his kick, resulting in Ray falling down again.

At that exact second, the bell rings signalling the end of the fight. This also resulting in a tie.

"Don't you think those punches were a little...brutal?" Leon asks holding an ice pack over the bruises on his face.

"I don't think he cares." Ace murmurs.

"Aww.. come here let me give you hug." Crystal says in an empathetic tone.

"Oh god these people" Ray mutters, clearly annoyed.

Now it is Colt and Crystal. Not that good of a match up of her I guess since Colt will have the upper hand because of his ability of flight.

Anyways now off with the match, both of them head towards the ground.

"Start"

This time rather than leaping in the air, he takes out several of his feathers and prepares himself for the Crystals attacks. She too forms several small crystals and aims them at him. With a beautiful show of precision, he defends himself with his own feathers and also manages to throw some at Crystal. So too dodges them with creating strong wall in front.

This continues for a while, in the last 10 minutes, Colt finally lifts up in the air and proceeds to throw an onslaught of feathers at Crystal. She protects herself with her same technique. Now, it is just a test of durablity. At the end a brack appears in Crystal's wall and a few more attacs later, it shatters into small shards.

Those feathers pin her to the ground and one of the hardened feather is at her neck, forcing her to accept defeat.

"The victor of the sixth match is Colt Halton! Now for the last match of the day, Ace Akabane and Eos Levine, please prepare yourselves, the match will begin after 15 minutes."

15 minutes passes by quickly. We both, prepared for the fight, enter the arena.

"Even tho I don't want to hurt you, I won't hold back. So come at me with all you got." he warns me.

"Prepare yourself." I smirk.

"Start"

With that he immediately summons his card, upon looking closely I can identify that the choose the Queen of Spades, I don't remember which power lies in it but I do know that it is a really powerful one since it is a queen. I too summon six of my daggers. Three in each hand.

Keeping my distance with him, incase he has a short range ability, I throw three of my daggers at him, trying to figure his ability.

Just when the blade was going to hit him, a woman with dark raven hair and icy blue eyes appears and destroys the dagger with her katana.

She stands there in all her glory, a crown resting on top of her head. She then puts her beautiful black katana back at its place, resting on the side of her waist. She looks directly in my eyes, intimidating aura radiating off her. A shiver runs down my spine.

"What ? Didn't expect this right, did you ? Aww look at your face, don't tell that you're going to surrender now" Ace teases, a bit of blood drips down from the corner of his mouth.

"Hmph says someone who is barely standing." I reply back

"Well that's our Dawn. So aren't you going to say hello to my Queen here ?" He taunts.

That is his actual ability. If necessary, he can summon a card whole person. But it only works on Jack, Queen, King and Ace. But the main drawback of it is that it takes up a tremendous amount of energy, like right now you can see that Ace is barely standing. But to be honest it is worth it, because, like this queen here can use the ability of all the cards below and since she is the Queen of Spades, she can also use the power of the other queens as well. But there are only 4 people he can summon, meaning, there is no difference between the Queen of Spades and a Queen of Hearts, the only change is of the ability, but they are the same person at the end, just with different ability.

Anyways, on to the fight, I spread out my wings and fly in the sky. I summon a gun and shoot the queen, but she destroys the bullets with ease. I also shoot a bullet at Ace, but as expected, she protects him with no difficulty.

A few minutes later I can feel the temperature drop. My wings being sensitive, start becoming numb. I land back on the ground, then shorten my wings a little and summon my katana.

"Fine then if you want to play like this, I'm going to go according to your rules." I say.

We both charge at each other, with our blades in our hands. Both the katanas clashes, beautiful black collides with a dangerous blood red. Not only she is fighting me head on, but also manages to throw some random attacks in between, like array of ice and crystal popping out of the ground at random time, the ground beneath my being manipulated and making me lose my balance, therefore her managing to damage me with the katana.

I defend my back with hardening my wings, also protecting myself with some feathers. But even with all this, I did take a lot of damage, cuts all over my body, little patches of it can be seen all over the arena, the healing and the takeing hits is not balanced at all. If this continues on I'm surely going to loose.

I try to think of something but, nothing comes to my mind. Panic arise in me. No matter how many or how deep my attacks are, she manages to heal or even regenerate herself. I can no longer feel my wings and am forced to take them back, giving away the shield, protecting my back.

No there is still hope. From the corner of my eyes I can see Ace tumbling and holding his head in pain. Maybe, maybe if I drag this on a little more, then maybe I can win this match.

With that in mind I once again charge at the Queen, both the blades clashes once again. Both attacking and looking for an opening in the enemy's defence.

"I'm surprised that you can still continue with all those wounds, if I were you, I wouldn't have extended this match this much."

Nope don't pay attention to it, it's just for distraction. But that was enough. A sharp pain is felt in my abdomen. I look down only to see that her black katana has pierced me. A metallic taste in my mouth. I try to stand up but my knees giving out, I fall on the ground in a kneeling position. Looking around I can see everyone's shocked and scared faces, Ace too stops his ability and looks at me, and then the referee, trying to tell him to end the match. I could see a glint of guilt in his crimson eyes for a second.

I could feel my consciousness fading away. "No I can't lose like this, I don't want to." I try to say, but no voice coming out. I choke on my blood, black spots covering my vision. My body goes limp, still in kneeling position.
