To the Adventures Guild

Emily looked at Leon who was smiling at her, she was very happy to know that Leon has a very good personality. She didn't think at first that he would recognise her as his wife even though it was just a mistake.

"Why did you agree to my request that easily?" She asked Leon. She wanted to know the reason for Leon accepting her as his wife, although they have only met yesterday. Was it all because of the mistake that he done?

"To tell you the truth, at first I was very shocked by your claim. In my hometown, I wasn't very social with girls. But You are a beautiful and gentle person that is my type, so it would be great to have a wise as beautiful as you. As we travel together, we might fall in love with each other anyway

"Why don't you interact with women back then?" Emily asked. She was curious about Leon, and why he didn't get close to women back in his hometown.

"Where I am from, there if you have the money you can do anything, but if you don't then you're nothing. I was a very poor person who work hard for my studies and living, I don't have anyone back there so I have to work for myself. The girls there are very rich, their pride is as high as the sky and there look at us like garbage. How can a lowly person like me be compared to them? So I ignored them and work hard on my studies." Leon said with a sigh.

"This place is also the same, if you have the power you can be the king but if you don't, you won't even know when you died. The world is very cruel and unusual, where the strong rule and the weak get slaughtered by the strong. You need to get used to killing Leon! It's not a world for the weaklings!" Emily said while she grabbed one of his hands.

"I know Emily! If I am not prepared to kill other people it will be an end for me, so You don't need to worry about I will kill when needed." He said with a smile on his face.

Indeed this new world, talents are above everything. If you have the talent to become a great mage who can serve the country, you will be highly respected. On the other hand, if you don't have a decent talent you will be nothing more than a training dummy for those who have talent.

As for Emily, she has a rare healing talent and anyone would want her to join their family but Emily doesn't want to show her talent to other people, because she doesn't have a family to back her up. In this situation, if she revealed that she has the rare healing ability then those Nobles would make her a slave to order around, she doesn't want that kind of life so she decided to hide from the people.

"Leon, let's go to the guild and register as an adventurer. It will only take an hour to reach." Emily said happily.

"Sure, but there is a little problem with it!" Leon said while turning around.

"Problem? What's the problem?" She asked with a confused face.

"Well, it's not a big deal....it's just that...I don't have any money with me!" Leon said while blushing. He was very embarrassed about it.

"What! Let me take a look at my savings!" She was surprised that Leon doesn't have any money with him despite wearing such expensive clothes. Ignoring all those she walks to the corner of the room and removes some soil and took out an old rusty trunk that has been buried there, she opens the trunk and looks through it and took out a pouch.

After finding the pouch she came toward Leon and sit in front of him. She opens the pouch and turns the opening towards the ground. A few silver coins poured out of the pouch. There are a total of 85 silver coins on the ground. she looked at Leon and said.

"This is all my years of savings, we will use it to register at the guild." She said while letting out a smile on her face.

"Is it really okay for me to use your savings?" Leon asked Emily with concern.

"Don't you say that I am your wife from now on, hmmm?" Emily said with her blushing cheeks.

"You're right but when I have some money for myself I will return it to you!" Leon said as he touched Emily's cheeks.

"It's not like I am asking it back!" Emily said. She was saving money so that one day she can live a decent life but now that Leon came into her life, she decides to invest those savings as they registers as an adventurer at the guild.

"Emily, you should pack your things!" Leon said.

Emily nodded and start packing her things, there isn't many things to pack for her. She brings the things that can be useful in their journey. She placed the things in front of Leon.

"Let me put these things somewhere safe and easy to walk," Leon said as he put Emily's belonging in his system storage.

Emily looked at Leon with a shocked expression, she saw her belongings disappear in the thing air like they weren't there from the beginning. She looked at Leon hoping for an answer.

"It's an ability that I have, just keep it a secret from others!" Leon said.

"Umu" Emily nodded at Leon's word. She knows very well this kind of thing better than others.

After everything is settled, they walk out of the broken house. The sun is up high in the blue sky, the place was not a good place to stay. There are small houses like a but and the place was very dirty. There are a lot of people outside that don't even have a proper set of clothing. Most of them were half naked.

Those people who're eyeing Leon's unusual clothes that they have never seen before. They even gossip about him with each other.

Leon and Emily both ignored them and only focused on walking, after a few minutes of walking they both walks out of the slum area of Carran city. It didn't take long for them as Emily thought it would be.

Leon looked around the city, the city was very lively and running well. There are lots of merchants moving, and he saw an armoured soldier who was looking at them. He grabbed Emily's hand and walked toward the soldier.

"Hello, I am Lucas and this is Julie. We're searching for the adventures guild, can you tell me the way?" Leon introduced himself as Lucas and as Julie for Emily.

The Soldier looked at Leon from top to bottom, he was surprised to see such unusual clothes for the first time.

"Are you guys new to this town?" The soldier asked.

"Yes, we arrived yesterday and looking for the guild!" Leon said.

"By the way, I am Arnold, take the right turn and walk 140 steps forward, you will see a tall building. That is the guild." the soldier said as he pointed in the direction.
