Chapter 60- Last Minute Work.

Raina's POV.

I smiled as I thought of Mr Presley, I was already getting more and more surprised by the popularity I gained.

He recognised me and was genuinely sincere, I was suddenly a popular person.

I turned to Bas who smiled at me, he waved at the car lifter, who came to take the car he brought back to Pineville.

We were going to take a private jet back, I squinted as I looked up immediately I heard the sound of the jet, Bas tugged me along with him and we adjusted to the side planes of the street.

The jet landed and the pilot ran out taking our bags with him inside, Bas opened the door for me and I went inside.

I smiled at the interior design in the jet, he was really a sucker for designs, he turned to me and winked.

"How is it you like designs so much?" I asked.

"I don't really know, I just really fancy it a lot, it makes me at peace, you need to see what I do in my free time." He said.

"Wow, it's wonderful to know that something like designs could make you feel peaceful." I smiled.

"It does, it clears my mind sometimes, especially peculiar ones, and more aesthetically pleasing ones." He held my hands and clutched them.

"That's why I think art is lovely," I paused looking into his eyes, I held his hands tightly when the jet moved, "I feel that art is responsible for making all these designs and decorations beautiful." I added.

"Yeah, art plays a big part in it." He nooded, he turned away from me when his phone rang.

"Hello, we are on our way, we don't need attention so arrange everything thing the way I told you." He said scratching his head slightly.

"Thanks Cuzzo, I'll tell you once we've landed, or maybe minutes before we land." He said and ended the call.

"When it's about twenty minutes to land, please tell me," he told the pilot who nooded, he closed back the demarcation and turned to me, "Gabriel already made plans for us, so we'll find a way when we're back." He clasped my hands with his and I gripped his hands tightly.

I leaned closer to him and relaxed on his chest, "you're so large and..." I said.

"Large and?" He asked with a smile, shaking me slightly.

"I don't have to complete it yunno." I said with a smile and he laughed.

"Let's rest for a while." He said and brought my head back to his chest, I leaned on him and he kept patting my back, I hugged him and he hugged me back, I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up with a start when I heard Bas voice and his hands shaking me. I wiped my eyes with a wet wipe, scanning the place for any reporter, I didn't want them to cause issues for me or Bas in the company, so I needed to be careful, they already questioned him, we will only make ourselves known as couples when we were ready and we've planned everything and balance ourselves.

For me I wanted to be worthy of him, I wanted to make a name for myself a little, I didn't just want to be known as the girl who married Sebastian Edmondo, I wanted to make my own name for myself.

"It's okay, you don't have to look around, I had the area cleared before we arrived." He said, and I smiled slightly.

"I'm here Bruno, where are you?" He asked scanning around.

"I'm right here boss," I turned and saw Bruno who smiled when he saw me, he paused for a moment and hit his forehead slightly, I saw Bas eyes narrow, "I'm sorry Bas." Bruno said and Bas rolled his eyes.

"Good afternoon, Miss Raina." He bowed his head slightly and I did too.

"Just Raina will be fine." I told him and he laughed.

"I've prepared the car that will take you to your home." He said and gestured to the black sedan car I saw at the end of the street.

"And I've also prepared the truck that'll park your belongings to your new house." He added.

I was changing my environment, I planned this for a long time, I told Bas about it and we discussed the best place to get a place, I ended up getting an apartment at the sequin area, it was closer to work and even close to the new place Bas and his family stayed, it was also close to Bas private apartment when he didn't stay at home.

He purposely picked Sequin area for me when I told him to help me get a place.

The area was heavily secured like Maple Town and lot of top people lived there, you didn't get in, if you weren't a resident and you didn't also come in without invitation from those who stayed there.

I was planning the interior designs for the house, and I needed to set up my workshop when I parked, I was already stressed out from thinking of the things I had to do after resting for a week.

"Thanks a lot Bruno, I hope I'm not putting you out." I said and Bruno shook his head.

"I'll be going now." I said shyly and Bas smiled.

He pulled me in and kissed me Slightly, I kissed him back, we were going to be apart for a while and it felt like forever, he sighed as his lips left mine.

"I'll miss you." He said with a small smile, I mouthed a "me too." And ran after Bruno who was waiting with the driver at the Black sedan for me.

"Let's go, Mr?" I asked the driver who smiled at me immediately he saw me, he took my luggage and put it in the booth gently and ran to the door, opening it for me.

"I'm Tristan ma'am, just Tristan." he said as he started the car and drove away, I turned to wave at Bas who waved back immediately.

"Okay Just Tristan,I'm Raina, just Raina." I told him with a smile and he laughed, I joined him and we laughed for a minute.

"I'm your fan, I was very delighted when Bruno told me I was picking you." He said.

"You're a fan?" I asked.

"Yes, you're popular now, one of the popular people here, so you have fans now." He said.

"Wow, this is more big and surprising than I thought, I'm real a popular person now, I can't still believe it." I said out loud.

"Well,I followed immediately I saw your designs, they are beautiful." He said.

"Thank you, that means a lot to me." I said.

I sighed in relief as he stopped at my house, I bid him goodbye as I took my luggage, I ran upstairs, I had to finish my work design totally before starting tomorrow and I needed to reply all of Lyn's text, she will strangle me soon, if I kept leaving her on read like I was doing since I came back online.

I brought out my Laptop immediately I closed my door and sat on the bed, working on my design, I was in a slump, I couldn't even think of something credible enough and eye catching to give.

The design was for an interior decor of the governor's office, the governor of Pineville needed designs and our company was picked for it, the work was transferred to me.

I rubbed my forehead slightly as I felt the headache, since I came in, I didn't even eat or change up, I've been thinking of a design to give that'll match his taste and likes.

I searched up the governor and found out his likes and dislikes, I pictured the lily flowers he loves and I thought of a design immediately, I smiled as I took my drawing book and drafted out what came to mind.

I sighed as I drew what I thought of for the interior design , I brought out my design app and placed everything, adding the finishing touches immediately, I smiled as I saw my design.

I called Lyn who answered immediately on the first ring.

Lyn: you've finally decided to call me.

Me: I'm sorry, I landed hours ago, but I had to complete this design I was given to make.

Lyn: it's okay, brother told me you were busy, I shouldn't disturb you.

Lyn: You have a lot to tell me.

Me: Yes I do, can I post a sneak peak of this design I made on my Instagram?

Lyn: yes, we'll meet and I'll tell you how to manage your lifestyle now, posting a sneak peak will tease and also pique interest, making the main unveiling a hit.

Me: Okay, we'll see tomorrow.

I ended the call and posted a little of the design, I drifted off to sleep immediately I leaned on my pillow after posting.
