Chapter 31- Lamb Soup.

Raina's POV.

"You make everything simple." What he said kept ringing in my ears, I flushed thinking about it, I was happy whatever I did made him feel relieved or excited.

It made me sad to know that he blamed himself for my abduction, I could see him gaze at me sadly while stirring what he was making.

"I thought you said I make everything simple." I asked immediately without thinking.

"Yes I did, and I meant it, I'm just really worried about you," He smiled and added more pepper, "do you love spicy food?" He asked.

"I like both sweet and spicy." I replied.

"Then I'll make a combo." He brought out more spices and mixed the ones he choosed, adding them all to the pot.

"Where did you learn how to cook?" I asked.

"From my mom." He adjusted his shirt again folding it to his arms.

"Really?"

"Yes, I've always loved staying in the kitchen with mother, so it was very easy to learn how to cook, vampire meals especially."

"So where did you learn how to cook human meals?"

"Online, it's very easy to get stuffs there and since I had experience in cooking already it wasn't hard."

"Come seat here Raina." He gestured to the stool at the dining table, I stood up there immediately.

"So what did you make?" I asked.

"It's lamb soup." He said.

"Wow, I've never eaten the soup, just the roasted meat that's all." I attached the napkin on my neck and tasted it, it was really good, but I wasn't going to give him that satisfaction yet.

I stared at him with a sour expression rushing for the water immediately, I shook my head and he looked so worried and concerned, I almost dropped my act.

"What's wrong?" He rubbed my hands, " is it really bad." He asked.

"My human friends love my cooking." He looked really confused.

"Well they must have lied to you." I shook my head, and he sighed.

"I wanted to make this so you could feel better." He smacked his head and I couldn't hold it in anymore, I laughed and he glared at me in realisation when he knew what I did.

"You got me there." He hollered.

"You should have seen your face, it was fun." I replied and kept eating, till I finished it.

"It's really nice, the best meal I've ever had, thank you." I smiled at him.

"I'm happy you like it." He said.

"Thank you so much, that made me feel better and you're really a good cook, I understand why our food department is also doing Great." I stood up going back to the chair and relaxed Slightly, he followed me there and adjusted me, making me lean.

I sighed when he massaged my shoulders, he was really thoughtful, every part of me was tense from the tussle during the abduction, and he knew what to do immediately, I smiled sheepishly wishing I'll be this happy for a long time, I had a feeling something was going to happen again, but I pushed the thought and feeling back and enjoyed his massage.
