Chapter 29- Thoughts.

Raina's POV.

Gabriel went out immediately he came in again with Sebastien and Evelyn tended to my wound.

"Are you really okay?" She stared at me squinting her brows slightly.

She took the first aid box and went out of the room.

I started thinking of my life, how it'll be different, how I'll be or behave, now that I accepted that I like the CEO and that I was his mate.

I was so shocked when he said that, I didn't even know how to react, I was still in shock and I couldn't handle the fact that my life will be a lot different that what I planned already.

I was a very organised person and I planned everything before going through it, I planned to work at EBC and I did, I planned to get the best education there is even when I was orphaned and I did it, I was very hardworking and I never backed down when I had a goal.

It surprised me how I fell for him easily, it scared me but I felt this ache whenever he was near to me or even moreso when he was far away, it drew me to him, whatever this energy was.

What I felt inside me for him became understandable when I found out I was his mate, I now Understood the raw energy and attraction I felt with him close and far away, the way I reacted when I first saw him.

I knew a little of how mating worked due to my research and I knew that mates felt deeply for each other, it didn't really matter if they were from the same species or origin.

"What will you like to eat?" I heard a voice say faintly.

"Raina?" I turned and stared at Sebastien with a slight gasp, he was the reason for my thoughts and here he was standing looking as dashing and handsome as ever, he had a determined set to his jaw, my description of his jawline was an understatement, he was so gorgeous, I wondered slightly if all vampires were really this gorgeous or it was just him.

He stared at me and smiled slightly and I bit my lips and blushed looking down at my legs, he must know the effect he has for doing this, he cleared his throat and I stared at him again.

"Aren't you hungry?" He asked while taking a seat close to me, I adjusted slightly wondering how the room became extremely hot when two air conditioners were inside and a fan was blowing.

I fanned my neck slightly and looked up at him, he stared at me like he was fascinated, I looked down again, he was making me nervous and shy, I wasn't much of a shy person, but his presence made it difficult to stay still.

"Raina?, You need to tell me so I'll know what to order." He said softly placing his hands on my legs, his hands were cold as the cold-blooded person he was, I jumped slightly and he removed his hands waving at me in apology.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"It's fine." I replied

"I see you've found your voice." He teased with a smile.
