Chapter 27- Tractus

Raina's POV.

I was still trembling when Lyn held me when I was pushed.

I saw him end the vampire's life with just a stare at first and then a swoop in kill.

He turned to me wide eyed and Lyn stilled, Gabriel stood at the edge watching him slowly, his eyes had changed and he now look very different from a Vampire, but he was a vampire, a very different one.

"Brother." Lyn called slowly.

"Are you alright cousin." Gabriel asked warringly.

He moved closer to me and took me from Lyn hands, I don't know what gave me the courage, but I held his cheek and patted his hair.

"It's okay, be calm." I could feel him reining in the control, forcing himself to be calm.

"It's alright, I'm fine, everything and everyone is fine, you saved me." I hugged him, patting his hair slowly.

"Raina are you alright?" He asked and I looked at him again, he looked normal and okay, Lyn and Gabriel heaved sighs of relief.

"You had me there Cuzzo." Gabriel said.

"Awwn he loves me." He replied sarcastically.

"I'm happy to see the humour is back, it's good to see the real you." Gabriel said with a laugh.

"Thanks Raina, he normally stays away from people and vampires when he's like that." Lyn said.

"I'm okay little sis." He said.

"Well I'm glad, you're better." She said.

"Are you okay Raina?" She asked me.

"No she's not, she needs a healer." My CEO said.

"No it's okay, I'll be fine sir." I said to him.

"No you won't, quit being stubborn ." He replied.

He teleported me immediately to the hotel room and we waited for Evelyn and Gabriel to bring the healer.

I was really curious to why he was different and why I was called his soul partner, but I didn't say anything yet.

"Ask me anything you want, I know you have lots of questions." He said as if he suddenly read my mind.

I raised my brows at him and he shook his head "I can't read your mind."

"Really?" I asked unsure of what he said.

"I can read everyone's own, but I can't read yours." He said.

"And also drop the formalities, you can call me by my name, Sebastien or Bas, call me boss when you're in the office." He added.

"Why?" I asked incredulously.

"We have something going on, even if it's not defined yet." He replied.

"Alright." I nooded.

"Why are you different from normal vampires?" I asked.

"Well, I was born different in my family, they said I'm a reincarnation of a strong vampire our mother created, some say I'm the the next existence of Tractus, but I know my power and gifts are different and it grows or increases everyday, and sometimes like when I killed him, I don't know how to control that yet." He said.

"Tractus?" I asked wide eyed.

"Yes, how did you know?" He asked.

"I made my research." I replied.

"Hmmm, I'm impressed." He smiled at me.

"Why am I called your soulpartner?" I asked and he stilled.

"You don't want to answer that?" I asked.

"I do, you're my soul partner." He said.

"Soulpartner?" I asked.

"My soulmate like humans and werewolves call it." He replied and I looked at him trying to think if he was lying, he was really serious, I was CEO's soulmate.
