Chapter 132- The Test.

Raina's POV.

I was already nervous and the lady who spoke made me extremely nervous than I was earlier, if someone stared at me for a long time, they could see I was shaking, and I didn't want to give such an impression, I was strong willed, and it didn't matter how many times my will kept breaking, if I put my mind to what I wanted doing, everything happens once I'm determined and sometimes I needed boosting, someone who could boost my confidence, so I was so damn nervous and what didn't help right now was the lady's voice which kept ringing in my head, "I'm sure she's not that good as I heard, she'll end up being the spoilt brat that she is." 

I don't why I had this crappy feeling, but I was not feeling alright, her words kept replaying in my head, and it was distracting me, I was still nervous about going inside the power realizing test box, but I couldn't even move because a voice inside my head kept going on and on and it scared the heck out of me, I was thinking about how good I could do, and how I shouldn't mess up, I could feel the stares at the back of my head, it felt like a hole was about to open up in my head.

Willing myself to stop listening to what I was hearing right now, I opened the door, I could hear snickers and I turned, it was the same lady and her friend, I wondered slowly what her power was and why I was suddenly something funny to her, I turned and my eyes met Dylan's eye, and he nodded and winked, I open the door and entered.

"Welcome, key in your name and begin." The voice in the machine said and I typed Kathryn Veneta, the machine makes a grunging sound and displayed Kathryn Veneta's test ready, I was so nervous, my heart was pounding against my ribcage right now, I hoped I passed at least one test thrown my way, and I needed to figure out what it is my abilities were, with everyone watching closely right now, I willed myself to not look there, till I'm almost through with the test, then I could look at anyone's face there.

I wasn't told how the test worked, that was what scared me the most, I didn't know how it worked, what I needed to avoid and how I worked, I only knew I had healing abilities,and I know how stupid I was going to look, if the "what if?" I asked my dad and brother actually came to pass, if I had just one ability, I shook my head, hoping it wasn't so.

I felt the floor I was standing on gruntle and I shifted slightly waiting for whatever it was coming my way, staring ahead my little confident smile I was having stopped when a piece of iron metal, long and wrapped like that of a snake with a sharp edge coming towards me with speed, it spurted out of the end of the room, and I don't know how but my hand reached out immediately and I stopped it when it was almost reaching my eyes, I was terrified but I was also happy I could stop it. I controlled it with a little shaky hands and I threw it against the wall, it shattered into piece, when it shattered it felt like I open a jar of it, it came out in different directions and I joined them all controlling them to ground.

I could feel the tension in me wound up tight, but I smiled knowing it wasn't just one ability I had, my father and brother were right.

"Telekinesis." The machine recorded, and I saw healing power too, it already knew that I had healing power and it recorded, I was still terrified of what I would meet or see next, I didn't know what it would be, but I was ready with nervousness.

I felt the ground shake, and I heard a roar, it was like something was coming and with the roar I could guess what it was easily, I looked to the ground and saw the iron I had destroyed has dissolved, and I wondered what I would use to hurt what was coming my way, I heard the roar louder now, it was like a strong warning, it was more then a roar, it was roars, facing my side I saw three feral lions snarling, their teeths looked extremely poisonous, they came at me and I didn't know what to do, but I felt something inside me tugging,like it knew I was in danger and it was dying to help me, so I closed my eyes and I heard the roaring stop like they couldn't see me, or maybe I hid well, it was just a little growling and circling around I heard, I opened them and I could still see the lions, I even slipped my hands touching one on the tail and it spun around growling ferally looking for me, but what surprised me was that it couldn't see me, I slipped pass it, I even hit the others and the circled around growling and snarling, it was like a dance at a ball full of twirling and growling lions.

They suddenly disappeared after a minute, I heaved a sigh of relief, realizing this particular test was over, I didn't know what was coming next, but I hope I could get past it.

"Invisibility." The voice said and I looked to the screen it showed with my name on it, Healing, Telekinesis, and invisibility, I smiled knocking my head mentally, asking myself why I doubted me in the first place.

I heard the machine make a grunging sound and I turned willing myself ready for whatever it is was coming next, I didn't know what it was but it felt powerful.

I saw plants coming out, wrapping around me and I realized it was testing my ability to control plants itself, and with the way I put it in my mind to control the plants, it wasn't working,and it was very obvious I didn't have this ability, the plants kept coming at me, one with thorns even stabbed me and I winced, the pain was a little unbearable, I gasped as long plants grabbed me by the knees and dragged me along, and I screamed, I saw fire come out immediately and I realized my hands were laced with fire too, and my eyes felt like flames were swirling around, I burnt every plant down and I noticed the fire touching me and the fire in me didn't harm me, I laughed as every plant I burnt turned into crisp.

"Pyrokinesis." The voice said and I blinked at it's explanation on the screen, the ability to create and control fire with the mind. I smiled, I was shocked that I had such ability, but I was happy I handled it well, I now hoped whatever it threw at me next, I could handle it perfectly.

My father and brother has whispered that it would give me challenges that would match with the abilities I had, so that's how the system worked, I think it wanted to test if I had the ability to control plants or I had the ability to burn it, and I had burnt it.

Looking up, I could see pyrokinesis written down for me, I started breathing a little too fast, I was nervous, I didn't know what the next thing would be, but I hoped I could handle it, I heaved a little, staring ahead waiting for it would send to me next, I was nervous I felt like if the room could detect it then it would be the biggest level of nervousness it has ever felt.

I felt the room shake, then someone came out, a man and a woman and I stared at them wondering if this was part of the test and I realized it was, and I wondered what it would be, I blinked when I saw them throw hurdles at me which I dogged immediately, running around the room, they pursued removed abilities at me, fire, water, which I blocked with everything, but they didn't stop, and I knew they wouldn't if I didn't make them, and I wondered what I could do, I didn't want to be invisible, I wanted something else that could make me handle them, and it felt like something in me surged up, waiting for the chance to burst open.

They both joined hands blazing at me, so I didn't know how I did but I made them see me at the wall, and they moved there, blasting, the effect sent me falling, I stood up immediately creating a different room with a different me inside and a door, but in that room was the door out of this test room, I didn't know how I was doing it, but the ability to do it came naturally like breathing, and I realized that my father and brother were right, this test room somehow knew I had that in me.
