Chapter 118- Nervous.

I couldn't sleep after I left with Bas, I was so nervous and anxious worrying about how I'll react when I see them or reach them, I didn't know how I'll fair, I was so damn nervous, my heart kept beating so fast and Bas kept clutching to my hands everytime my heart beat a little too fast, he would hold my hands and give me a small smile and I would hold his tightly smiling happily for the support I had, I wouldn't even know this detail I just heard if it wasn't for Bas.

Thinking about all he has done for me had me a little teary, he made really know what the meaning of love was, I understood the definition of that word because of Bas, he never failed to show me how sincere he was towards me, he showed me all the love language I could think of, act of service, word of endearment and physical touch, whatever it was he made it the best thing in the world, and now he made me discover what I would have never imagined.

My heart wasn't calm for hours since I came inside Bas room, he made me something to eat saying it'll calm my nerves, it did for a minute but I became so nervous again thinking about everything I discovered today.

And the those I would meet up with tomorrow, it had my heart running laps.

"You should stop thinking too much." Bas said as he handed me the tea he prepared, I collected the tea, sipping it immediately, it was my favourite camomile tea, sipping had me smiling and reminding myself that Bas is the absolute love of my life.

"This tea is making me less nervous." I said as Bas stared at me thoughtfully.

"I hope it really is, you've worried a lot," Bas said looking at me worry in his eyes, and I hope it makes you so happy you'll fall asleep too." Bas added.

"You look like the one worrying right now." I said and he scoffed.

"Well there's no way I won't worry." Bas said with a sigh as he brought me closer to him, he got the cup of tea from me, dropping it careful, he hugged me with a long sigh.

"I can't worry less, if I see you like this." He said.

"I'm sorry, I'm trying to not become nervous, but I can't even help it, it's like it's programmed in me." I turned to him tracing my hands all over his face as he smiled.

"Hmmm, I think I understand, but I guess you could try and think of something very happy, or something that'll distract you from what is happening." Bas said as he rubbed his temples.

"But that doesn't matter anymore, I have you with me, and I know you'll be perfect soon." I said and he smiled bitting his lips, he could be the cutest vampire ever if he wanted to, and right now he looked like one.

"Now I want you to remove your head from anything related to your parents and listen to me, then maybe you'll get that sleep, I want you to rest." Bas said as I nodded enthusiastically, I really wanted to rest today after all I heard.

Bas started singing a lullaby and I Chuckled and I was so amazed by how good he sounded, his voice was so soothing and unique, he looked like he reduced the deep voice and used a soothing tone to sing the lullaby, in minutes I was feeling sleepy, I picked the tea up, and downed it at a go.

I turned to him climbing to the bed, I laid my head down sighing as today's event came running around my head, and I didn't want to think of it, so I stared at Bas again who kept singing with a smile,it made me so happy, he winked at me and I smiled and giggled like an elementary school kid. 

He kept singing and winking at me everytime he got, I winked back when he did, we started the winking competition, I didn't know how it happened but as I closed my eyes and leaned down I slept off.

"Wake up sleepyhead." I smiled as I heard Bas's voice. I didn't even know when I felt asleep last night, but I definitely knew why, it was the person who made me sleep was the one waking me up, he was really the best thing ever in my life.

I stood up a little lazy, I was more nervous than I was yesterday, today was the day, so my nerves was really jumpy.

"Just dress up, let's go Raina, we are using the private jet." Bas said as he came out of the bathroom, I smiled as I saw his body, the towel didn't hide the fact that there was a monster hidden in there, a monster I liked and kissed and did stuffs with and who did things to me, his body is really the best thing ever.

I looked away, so he won't see the blush forming, but I was too late as I saw him smirk while shaking his head.

"It's all yours Raina, but you can drool later, go get ready." Bas said proudly and I scoffed entering the bathroom, and he laughed so hard.

I came out with Bas and met everyone outside waiting, Bas was right I was the one keeping everyone waiting, I smiled softly as I bowed to Bas's grandfather and father, and they smiled.

I saw the tracker come closer and I turned to Bas with a questioning look, I wanted only those work close with me to come to this journey.

"He comes, and there's something he would do there for me." Bas said as he took my bag and put it in the Jet.

"This looks like another family reunion." Bas said sarcastically as he saw everyone who entered the jet, he shook his head taking my hands and we entered the jet.

The journey there was a little long, Bas told me he would have gone there through his vampir strength, but he didn't want to stress me or himself, so he decided to pick the jet.

"How are you fairing?" I startled when I heard Bas's Grandfather's voice, I didn't know how to react , so I nodded slowly and Bas laughed.

"You startled her Grandpa, you're normally not this nice." Bas said with a smile and everyone laughed, I laughed too, he was right, I was surprised he asked how I was faring.

In about three long hours we reached vampire city, I could see the sign everywhere, and the entrance when the jet went to find a good space to drop us off.

"Just go to the plane station." Bas said and the jet driver nodded dropping us off at the plane station.

This part of Vampire city was even more spacious and beautiful than I thought, and it looked like I didn't even see a little bit of the city that day, I just saw the court, and glimpse of the palace from a distance.

We reached the market there while strolling, Bas insisted we did so I could sight see at the same time before meeting my parents.

I sighed as I saw the bakers shop, the bread lined there had me hungry, I just realized that even humans stayed here in this city.

"You can find lots of supernatural creatures here and even humans, and also halflings." Bas said as he stopped the tourist jeep he saw driving towards us.

"Miguel, let me borrow this." He said and the man dropped the jeep and we all entered, the jeep was larger and longer that it fit us all, it wasn't like the four wheeled one I knew of.

Bas drove around the place close to where my parents stayed as he said.

"Bas, we don't have all day to tour the city." Matteo said with a sigh.

"You know I'm not completely touring the city, this is just the business area, and well, we have to pass here." Bas argued.

"Okay, I'm almost at the area." Bas said as I sighted a road which looked like it was meant for the rich supernaturals.

I could see fancy houses when Bas entered, and I smiled as they all made my head turn, but what made my mouth drop was the last house in the street, I couldn't even describe how beautiful it was, but I was mind-blown.

The gate itself was made with crystals and the flowers made it look like it was an aesthetic house, it was shaped and kept in such colourful combination that I felt teary because it was too beautiful.

Bas drove in with a smile, we all dropped down when Bas parked at the round intersection.

He knocked the door and my heart beat faster than it ever did, I felt like my heart beat extremely fast when I saw the people who opened the door.

"Bas you really came." The woman said and paused with wide eyes when she saw me.
