Chapter 11- The Colour Room.

Raina's POV.

I was shivering when I went out of the elevator, I gripped my bag tightly maintaining my balance a little, I bowed my head Slightly, looking up I noticed Evelyn wave at me and I managed a little grimace, it was still terrified after viewing that message.

"Who could have sent me that?", "Who knew about my CEO's nature?".

I turned when I felt a light tap on my shoulders.

"Can we talk?" Evelyn stared at me with wide eyes, she wore a black jumpsuit, she had her hair packed into a messy ponytail, she adorned her lips with bright red lipstick.

"Uhm, yeah" I replied nervously, she still looked as beautiful as ever, Vampires were gorgeous humans.

I dropped my bag on my table and followed her to the corridor.

"I want to start by apologizing" she bit her lips.

"For what?" I asked still thinking of the message that was sent.

"You know why, I didn't tell you what I am" she pressed on.

"I'm not angry with you Evelyn, I was just  little surprised that's all" I replied, I kept glancing around the corridor.

"It's okay, no one will come here, and if they do, I have a sharp hearing" she glanced around and smiled at me. I offered her a small smile, but I knew that I wasn't afraid of someone finding us here.

"And I'm apologizing in Gabriel's stead for his behaviour with you, I know he'll apologize when he sees you" she added.

We left the corridor and went back to our seats, I turned on my laptop and saw my task for the day indicated.

I started working on my task slowly, my thoughts were still filled with the message I got this morning.

I clicked the submission list after designing the UI for the company. I relaxed a little after submitting, I always felt happy after reading or designing, it made me happy.

"Raina, girll, I missed you".

I turned and smiled at Daniella who ran from the paint room, she had been assigned there since morning to test the colours of our new project.

"I missed you too" I hugged her.

"Careful, your cloth might stain because of my powder" she brushed off my cloth lightly with a smile.

"Oh please, just tell me you wanted me to notice your makeup" I chuckled, she had a very bold look today, with smokey eyes and nude lipgloss. 

"That too" she nodded dramatically.

"Don't tell me you both are having fun without me" Evelyn left her spot to join us and we smiled.

"Let's go to the colour room, you need to see the new combinations" Daniella said.

"You missed a lot last week" She added.

"Oh, I'll love to" I said.

"Well, we'll work extra hard this week, the CEO came back from his conference and we have to finish the project for it's opening and presentation" she grabbed my hands and took me to the colour room.

The colour room was really like it's name, I stared in awe as I saw many colours like blue, turquoise, peach, purple,red, pink, etc. It had almost all colours I knew and the ones I just found out due to the tags below, and a mixture table and matching palate. For a while I forgot the message that made me totally.
