Chapter 18 - Dragon Soul

He gently put Chen Ya Jing on the sofa and covered her body with a blanket. After that, Li Tian walked towards the door.

He didn't immediately open the door, but instead, he just stood in front of it and placed one hand on the door handle.

He could feel that someone was standing outside of the door, and they were also emitting a murderous aura.

At this moment, the door was pushed open.

Li Tian squinted his eyes, as soon as the door opened, he didn't say a word and immediately placed his hands onto that man's neck, almost choking him.

The expression on that man's face showed that he didn't expect someone else to be in the house. He was also taken aback by Li Tian's grip.

To be honest, even Li Tian didn't expect the man to be this weak. He didn't even dodge his attack.

Wasn't this the owner of the Black Dragon Armband?

Li Tian thought to himself. He didn't forget to shut the door behind him, and dragged this man to the stairs.

"Who are you?"

Li Tian asked in a low voice.

The man appeared to be in his late twenties, and was also good looking. He had a manly aura, but seemed extremely gloomy.

After the man realised that Li Tian was holding him by his neck, he didn't panic in the slightest, and even became angry at Li Tian.

"Who am I? That's not important. Who are you? Why did you in Ya Jing's room?"

The man began to interrogate Li Tian.

"Ha... I can be wherever I want, it's none of your business!"

Li Tian could feel his arrogance, but little did this man know that his arrogance meant nothing in front of Li Tian. Even if he was a dragon, he still would have to kneel down in front of Li Tian if he said so.

"None of my business? I'm her husband. You owe me an explanation, if not, I won't let you leave this building!"

"Her husband? I didn't know."

Li Tian felt a rush of guilt upon hearing his words, so he immediately loosened his grip.

As soon as he saw Li Tian let go, he took out a certificate from his pocket.

"I'm a part of the Dragon Soul. You're under the suspicion of being involved in a military spy case. Follow me!"

The man began to get riled up, and even took out a pair of handcuffs.

"Oh..."

Li Tian took the document and began to read it. It really had a special logo.

He was sure that the Black Dragon Armband belonged to this man. So, the organization is called Dragon Soul?

That man became even angrier as he noticed Li Tian's mocking expression. He had just broken up with Chen Ya Jing, and initially wanted to come back to get his things. He also wanted to see if there was any opportunity to sleep with Chen Ya Jing. After all, they had been in a relationship together. Even though they didn't do it often, this man was still obsessed with her.

However, Chen Ya Jing always held him by the leash. They had lived together for three years, but only slept together several times.

He wasn't satisfied with this. With his qualities, he could easily find another woman, and thus, he initiated the breakup.

However, the girl he was supposed to meet with today had stood him up. He felt agitated and wanted to sleep with Chen Ya Jing to relieve himself. He didn't care if he had to use force, as Chen Ya Jing wouldn't be able to say anything to him.

He didn't expect that he would see another man send Chen Ya Jing home, and the both of them even looked intimate.

This darn woman. She'd already found another man a day after we broke up. So, he could only wait outside the door. An hour had passed by and that man was still nowhere to be seen. In the end, he couldn't resist barging into the room to see for himself.

He had come to a decision. Even if he had to frame Li Tian, he would do anything to make him suffer. He was very possessive, and was very obsessed with Chen Ya Jing. He thought of her as his private property, so even if he didn't want her, no one else could have her.

This was why he mentioned the military spy case and took out his certificate.

This certificate was looked highly upon by a mayor of any city, as this organization wasn't under the control of any jurisdiction.

Upon spotting Li Tian's expression, he immediately reached for the handcuffs in his pocket. However, when he wanted to make his move, Li Tian suddenly spoke.

"You better not take out your handcuffs, it won't be easy for you to have them back if you do."

Li Tian said solemnly. However, that man just pretended to not hear him.

The handcuffs were soon wrapped around Li Tian's wrists.

From the beginning till the end, Li Tian maintained a faint smile on his face.

The Dragon Soul was a powerful organization. He had been in contact with them a few times whilst he was overseas. They were all very strong, even comparable to the ordinary members of his own team. Li Tian thought to himself, if he really was a part of the Dragon Soul, even the lowest member of the Black Dragon Armband could've easily dodged my attacks, meanwhile, this man couldn't even block one.

Thinking about it, the Dragon Soul didn't seem so powerful after all.

"Let's go. You're taking me to sit for a trial, right? I wonder, where's your secret base?"

Li Tian cooperated with him. Ever since he came back, he hadn't dealt with the Dragon Soul. This seemed like an opportunity for him to see the organisation for himself.

"Pfft, you sure are stubborn. Not bad, you're really something else. But let me tell you, you're nothing in front of the boss!"

"Nothing? Let's see."

After an hour, the man brought Li Tian to a parking lot and locked him inside a secret chamber. He left after that to prepare for something. Since he had already made up a story, he had to make sure that there weren't any loopholes.

Li Tian glanced at his surroundings before sitting down quietly.

He wondered what the ranks of the members of Dragon Soul in Jiangdu were, and he also wondered if the few members that he knew were here too.
