My Boss is scary
Li Zi Yun was the eldest daughter of the Li family but her dad hated her. Her step sister or should she say half sister was always ready to take everything away from her. Chapter 49
Before entering the office, Li Zi Yun had seen the news that Li family's three factories had burnt and they were still investigating who the perpetrator might be. Now she understood the reason why Li Shu Chen had rushed out in a hurry. But this also meant he would bother her more trying to get her to arrange a meeting with Wang Yu.
As usual Li Zi Yun was called into the CEO's office as soon as she reached the fiftieth floor. CEO Wang Yu's eyes were shooting daggers at her. She felt awkward and uncomfortable standing in front of him, she could feel his eyes penetrating her skull when he looked at her. Wang Yu was deciding in his mind whether he should ask her about the video, but he knew that no criminal will accept their crime, so he dropped the idea.
Wang Yu looked at Li Zi Yun's legs. Her feet were bandaged and in her right leg the bandage covered her ankle. He noticed that she walked slowly when she entered the room. So Wang Yu made Li Zi Yun wait in his room for a long time making her stand there in front of him. It was difficult for Li Zi Yun to balance herself on her left foot without placing much strength on her right foot. Her legs were aching, but she stood there. When it was difficult to endure she thought of telling CEO Wang Yu. But then she could see that CEO Wang Yu was well aware of her condition and yet he made her stand. She did not know why Wang Yu was doing this to her, but she did not want to give him the satisfaction of seeing her in discomfort, so she stood there.
Wang Yu let her leave the room after a long time. When Li Zi Yun sat on her chair she could feel her leg muscles cramped. She was massaging her legs when Assistant Liu Guang informed her she had get ready for the meeting and inform the department heads immediately. Li Zi Yun had no time to rest. She had to get everything ready for the meeting.
The meeting started and Wang Yu had asked the employees to explain their status in the incomplete projects. This was a sudden meeting and everyone was sitting there flustered. They have been suddenly called up and a meeting was organized. CEO Wang Yu was sitting there stone faced with a murderous aura around him. He had specifically asked Li Zi Yun to stand beside him and take note of everything. Li Zi Yun had no choice but to obey the boss.
The department heads were presenting in front of CEO Wang Yu but he was sitting there with no expression in his face. When they stopped the presentation, CEO Wang Yu gave them a look like 'Is this why I am paying you?' So they felt burdened and kept on going not sure what to do. They looked at Li Zi Yun who was standing beside CEO Wang Yu. She was sweating profusely with the pain in her legs unbearable. They were looking at her face helplessly, but Li Zi Yun couldn't do anything. She did not know why CEO Wang Yu was angry and she knew she had no say to this. Assistant Liu Guang was also sitting beside Wang Yu. He did not want to say anything and provoke CEO Wang Yu. From morning he saw that CEO Wang Yu had a scary look in his face and Liu Guang did not want to say anything to him nor stay close to him.
Li Zi Yun's legs were killing her but she tried to stand still. Liu Guang felt pity for her but he couldn't do anything to help her. Li Zi Yun's right foot ankle had started swelling so the bandage was suffocating her foot. She had left in a hurry in the morning so she hadn't eaten her breakfast yet. She was hungry and her stomach was also aching. All the employees were sitting there looking at each other as the meeting dragged on. No one was sure when the meeting will come to an end. Wang Yu's phone was ringing. It was Wu Qing. Wang Yu looked at Li Zi Yun. He could see her standing uncomfortably.
Wang Yu was not ready to let her go yet. He wanted her to suffer more. Wang Yu received a call from Wu Qing. Everyone was eagerly looking at Wang Yu expecting him to let them go at least now. They have been inside the room from morning and now it was well past lunch time. Wu Qing had given a call to Wang Yu to inform him that he was waiting in his office. Only then Wang Yu got up from the seat and left the room signaling everybody to leave.
Li Zi Yun sat down on the floor when everyone left the room. She could not move her feet even an inch. She removed the bandage from her right foot. Her ankle had swollen so much that removing the bandage made her feel better.
